Places to Stay in Alquézar

Very clean, friendly staff, PET friendly, very good value and close to Alquezar. Bungalows are very confortable for the whole family.

- beautiful outdoor area, though it is a BIG complex, ie you are not exactly far from neighbors 😉 - the little hut is functionally equipped . We’ve had beautiful meals at our own picnic table. - the supermarket is surprisingly quite functional also, with fresh baked bread and croissants

The hotel was situated in close proximity to free parking. Our hosts, Marta & Sergio, were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room had a beautiful view through which we could see the lovely village of Alquezar. The queen size bed was perfectly comfortable. Meals were beautifully prepared and served in the dining room with a city view. All the food was sourced from nearby farms. There is also a large patio available for dining. We'd only planned an over-night stay but remained for 3 days due to the charm of the village and the activities available. There is a (maybe 3 mile) loop hike by the river and another hike to see bronze-age petroglyphs. Our stop at the Hotel Vinoteca was one of the highlights of our 3-week trip through southern France and northern Spain.

The place is amazing, perfect for resting and enjoy the peace.

The owners were wonderful! We communicated through google translate. Made us a great breakfast in the morning. Rooms were large and comfortable. It’s a tiny village with a lot of character.

Owner is very welcoming and friendly. She speaks good English. Dinner and breakfast is homemade at time you wish. Not many options but fresh and of good quality. We were offered a fresh welcoming drink. Paradores do not have this habit,,😭

Perfect location overlooking the town with restaurants and parking nearby. Couldn’t have chosen a better place. Breakfast was lovely too!

The bedrooms were comfortable with all the necessities. The kitchen and living room were spacious. It was very clean and in an excellent location.

The room was exactly as described. We were with a baby under 1 year old. They don’t have baby cribs or baby beds that was for sure a challenge. However place is spacious pretty clean. Owners do not speak English, however with body language communication becomes easier 😄 amazing view from the room. Location is great for those ones who love hiking.

This is an exceptional property in a wonderful town. It is creatively decorated and has a lovely shared common room. It is conveniently located near many hiking trails. Alquézar is a must see place for hiking and relaxing. We look forward to returning in the spring.
