My plan was to visit the town of Consuegra which is well-known for its array of windmills and a castle on the nearby ridge. I had been to Consuegra almost 25 years... in the fog, during the winter, and wanted to see what the place looked like in milder temperatures. Anyhow, I found this place to say. It is not a difficult walk from the bus station and the town's main square... and it was quite easy to walk to the windmills as well. The hotel has a restaurant that is open for lunch (or at least that was the case when I was there in March.) Delicious food from La Mancha. A very nice lady working there also helped me check-in to the posada, so I had actually checked in at the bar in the restaurant. As to my room, it was very clean and quiet, modern but reflecting "older Spain". The bathroom appeared very chic and state-of-the-art. I enjoyed my stay there.

Location for a short stay while traveling throught Spain is perfect, near the highway. Staff was super helpful when i had a problem with my tiers of the car. Everything was new and clean in the room.

They have very accommodating staff. It is very near the Molinos de Viento. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is great. Highly recommended if you want to visit Consuegra.

Unit is amazing, lots of space, very well decorated and has everything you need. Full breakfast provided, fruits, croissant, cereal, cheese, coffee, juice, jam... Seriously, it was better than a lot of hotels! Owner was really helpful and kind, gave us lots of tips about the city.

We arrived here expecting a quiet evening between spending a week in Granada and a week in Madrid and Azafrán Consuegra exceeded our expectations! Tucked in the heart of downtown Consuegra, this is a fantastic hotel that puts you in easy walking distance to everything. If you came to town to see windmills and the castle, you're just a fifteen or twenty minute walk from them here! Our host was super helpful, even though we spoke no Spanish. She was patient and told us all about the area using google translate, which we appreciated. The room was immaculate, and everything in it seemed brand new! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot with plenty of pressure. The room was quiet and peaceful... Exactly what we were hoping for!

Love the location and views from the outside upper deck. Stairs close by to get to the windmills. The home is comfortable and had everything I needed. Loved all the breakfast foods in the kitchen. Wish I was staying here longer. The host, Maria?, was great! She meet me at the property to help me check in. I visited during the saffron festival and she gave me a schedule of events that were happening in Consuegra and in Madridejo. I had such a great time learning about saffron and the culture of these areas.
