Places to Stay in Tournus

Lovely room and nice amenities.

We arrived a couple of hours later than planned and Valerie waited to meet us at the property and get us settled. She was very kind and pleasant and between us, we managed to bridge our language gap. We stayed in the double room with terrace which is the door furthest left in the attached pictures. We were greeted with a complimentary charcuterie plate and a bottle of wine from the region. The studio apartment was very clean, pleasantly designed and decorated, bright without being overly sunny during the day, and well-equipped. The bed itself was comfortable for sleeping. The hair dryer was a plus. We had been booked elsewhere but when we saw the high temperatures in Tournus around the time of our stay, we canceled and rebooked with Domaine des Jardins for the air conditioning and were so glad we did. The air conditioning unit in our room worked well and provided much needed relief after long days of walking in the heat. The location across the river from town was beautiful and peaceful. It was an easy walk across the bridge to the center of town and we enjoyed seeing all the folks picnicking along the grassy riverbank. The private parking directly on site was very convenient. We met Stephane the night before we were leaving when he checked in on us. He was genial and very flexible regarding our "checkout" time as we had an event to attend that morning. All-in-all, a very positive experience and wonderful accommodation.

Great overnight stay on our way to Spain

The location is an incredible medieval castle that has been perfectly restored while keeping its authentic charm. What makes this place truly special is Amarante and Raoul. We enjoyed an amazing dinner and breakfast there. The experience was breathtaking, with salads and main courses infused with medieval herbs we had never tasted before. Raoul is also a world-class wine specialist with a wine cellar full of treasures. We came for a relaxing moment with our 6-month-old baby but returned with an unforgettable experience. Thanks again Amarante and Raoul we will definitely come back

It's one of the few hotels around there with a 24-hour reception, which is super handy if you're arriving late. The hotel and rooms have a charming vibe, and the staff is really friendly. Breakfast was awesome—we even got freshly cooked eggs when we asked. There's public parking right in front of the hotel.

Very good location near high way. Very quiet, pizzeria on the site. Nice breakfast. Rooms, very good size. Perfect quality for the price you pay.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Le Clos Mouron. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the host was superfriendly.

Convenient location with great secure parking.

Very good quality-price ratio in Tournu. It was great to have my bike stored in a safe place. I very much enjoyed talking about cyclism with one of the owners - très gentil et sympa, merci pour ce joli moment !
