It's a lovely homestay, quite close to Heathrow Airport. In this Homestay room you have all the amenities of a Hotel room. The Host was also very accomodating and helpful in figuring out how the heater worked.

This is my second stay at the Opal Lux - I love this place. It's convenient for my purposes, though may not be for everyone. The parking can be challenging due to its location on a junction but well worth it. Everything is secure & monitored by CCTV. Maria is quick to respond to any/all messages. Previously I'd stayed during warmer weather, I had concerns it might be chilly this visit, but was proved wrong. It was warm and cozy throughout my 5 day stay. All appliances, decor and shower room (With large dispensers of toiletries) are high end - has the feel of a hotel suite. Amazing selection of herbs/spices to use (I cook extensively when staying at Airbnb's). Thoughtful touches like robes & slippers, tea, coffee, biscuits & bottled water. The bed is SO comfy, plus it's really quiet given it's proximity to LHR. this part of Stanwell isn't on the flight path (that'll change when the new runway is built). The Wifi was slightly unreliable - not something that happened on my first visit. But Maria was prop active and the issue was intermittent. Whenever returning to the area this is the first property I research (sadly it's usually booked). Highly recommended
