Lovely buffet breakfast, great food! Location was exceptional and walking distance to everywhere. Large room and spacious bathroom. Great place to stay!

Breakfast room was delightfully decorated. Staff were so friendly. Fantastic choice of food.

Warm welcome from staff, big comfortable room and bed, great breakfast and lunch. It's a popular hotel and busy, and we were assisted very quickly each time we had a request. When we came back to the hotel, one night there was a chorale group singing in the restaurant. Very nice place to stay in Kilkenny and lots of parking. It was close to good shops and parking in town. We went on the Shenanigans walking tour of Kilkenny and parked all day at the Market Yard car park by Dunnes store which as a department store and grocery store.

Room was a good size, quite quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, the food was excellent and they had Guinness Zero on tap - a treat for those of us from the UK!

Everything was great! The room was comfortable, the pub was welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. Really good value for money. Located in the centre of the town for easy walking around Kilkenny.

Good location for the price, incredibly nice people running it, and it was their first weekend open that we were there, so they were happy to hear any feedback and keen to improve the few small things we noticed. I would definitely stay again and recommend any travellers to chat with them, they have great recommendations and want to make your time in Kilkenny enjoyable.

We enjoyed the quaintness of this hotel. Nicely decorated. The owner is very friendly. He tended the bar. Megan is kind and very helpful. Our room was on the top floor. She carried a very heavy suitcase to the top without a complaint. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This turned out to be a good choice within easy walking distance to Kilkenny. Staff were excellent

Close to train, great pub for sports & it’s surrounded by restaurants, pubs & stores. It’s a quick walk into city centre. I’ve stayed at JB’s for 2 years now…Maggie is welcoming & very helpful!

It was off the beat and path, close enough to some pubs but a nice walk to the centre

Location could not be beat. Bed super comfy. Lovely view of the castle. Will be back again !

It was small, but clean and comfortable.  Margaret who checked us in, was very helpful and very nice. The room is above a pizza shop but we didn’t find it noisy. We tried the pizza and it was delicious! 

Everything was fine except the property is a bit dated. Staff, excellent, food, excellent, value for money, excellent, parking excellent

The place was so beautifully decorated, centrally located and supply facilitated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and couldn't recommend it enough.
