We absolutely LOVED our stay at Hahei Hideout Retreat and will definitely be back! We went with another couple and it was the perfect space for a relaxed, mid-winter weekend away, plus in the perfect location for adventuring around the Coromandel. Super clean, well presented, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The fresh herb garden and little adventure trail down through the garden were added bonuses too!

We loved the property for its excellent location and wonderful ambience. The apartment was clean, equipped with amenities, and featured comfortable linen and bedding. The manager was incredibly helpful, providing us with tips to explore the area.

Friendly and accomodating staff. Our room was pretty warm when we arrived and was clean and tidy. There is parking right outside our unit. Location is very close to the beach with a lot of access and it is also close to the start of the cathedral cove track but apparently the track is still close.

“ Can’t fault the Hahei Beach Bach”. Location is perfect and the batch has a relaxed cosy vibe. Beautifully appointed with every amenity you could wish for. We look forward to spending more time at the Beach Bach.

The location was great and easy to find. We only stayed one night, which was a shame as we'd have loved to stay longer. The kitchen was well equipped, and things like clingfilm and foil were available. We cooked and used the dishwasher, so again, it was great to have all that available. Loved the outside shower, although we didn't use it.
They provide kids buckets and spades for hotwater beach. The beds were comfortable too.
They also provided a great little selection of books for kids and a couple of games.

Great location to explore Hahei and Hot Water Beach, only a 5min walk from the beach.
Lovely accomodation for self-catering, with the option to add breakfast and have a meal in the bistro on site, free parking available on site. Have used this accomodation before and can recommend it. Very friendly staff.

Loved the location which was close to the beach and the few shops/cafes. Also great for the kayak trip to Cathedral cove which left from the main beach. Loved the woodfired pizza - delicious.
