Superb location,very amiable staff and owners,good food,very clean room and facilities

Best location with overlooking view of the Batad Rice terraces in your bedroom and dining area. Really recommend this inn if you want to rest for a bit, bask in the view with local coffee brew before the actual hike and descent to the main village and Tappiya falls. Thanks to our guide Kuya Dave for being patient with us and helping our 84 yr old grandma finish the hike. Thanks as well to the staff, Ms. Kim, Roxanne and her mother, for preparing our food, especially the curry, chopsuey, and chicken tinola! Also gave us more shampoo when we ran out. Sir Ulysses’ and family kept us company on our last night. The inn also offer massages which is a must try if you’re a massage enthusiast. Their techniques are really different compared to city massage therapists.

Batad Countryside was an oasis during our two-night stay in Batad. It's the first hotel you'll come across as you're hiking into Batad, which is fantastic, and after walking through the whole village, I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the nicer guesthouses available. There is a communal dining/hangout area on the second floor of the property which has absolutely stunning views of the rice terraces, and the rooms are simple but surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The shared bathroom was much larger than expected and is kept clean. The menu was surprisingly large and we enjoyed everything we tried -- make sure to try the roasted rice coffee/tea! The property staff are also extremely kind and wonderful to talk to and learn from; they made our stay a joy. As a bonus, there were two playful kittens as well!

Fantastic hostel in Banaue - especially for the price. Great service, breakfast options and the view over Banaue is just breathtaking. Very social and cozy atmosphere, met a lot of cool people including both Filipino and international travellers! Katherine the owner is so friendly and will do her utmost to help you out with booking tours around the entire province - I did a 3D2N with Domingo as my guide and it was by far one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. Make sure to bring enough cash for your entire stay in the province as the closest ATM is an hour away - luckily Katherine also helped me out by accepting PayPal as a payment option rather than cash (but don't make the same mistake as me).

The place was amazing. Bambino greeted us warmly and was incredibly helpful, making sure we had everything we needed to make our visit to Banaue worthwhile, especially considering our tight schedule. The food was delicious, and the room was exactly as described—actually exceeding our expectations.

Location is stunning and very unique. Incredible views and the feeling of being in the forest high in the mountain.

It was lovely. I'm glad we stayed 3nights. It was a difficult journey due to the road conditions of up and down and sometimes the steps are too high and narrow next to the ravines. But we are all glad we made this trip us we are all in our 70s. Our ages are 76, 2 72, 1 71, 45 n 41. We older were helped by our younger companions and the people that. brought our stuff. But it was a wonderful trip. Inspite of the difficulties. The woman running the place was very accommodating. She's excellent.

The location is perfect.. especially the view of the spectacular Batad Rice Terraces itself. Really friendly locals. The hike to the Tappiya falls was awesome.

The view was breathtaking! We were on our honeymoon so they decorated our bed 🥰 we loved the food , freshly made , very tasty ! The staff was AMAZING especially our tour guide and friend Oscar is just the best!!! Check him out he’s really a great person.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly pets

The place is cozy and relaxing. The view of rice terraces is also amazing!! Plus the people in Mayoyao is accommodating and friendly. This is my 6th time to visit Mayoyao and stayed in this inn. The owner is nice and easy to communicate with.

Out of the rokus of the city center and a good view of the Rice terraces. The staff composed of family members each exceptional in service from food to trek guides and very comfy place to stay. A home away from home.

Really nice people. Lhoren answered all our questions and was able to help us arrange transportation to the Cauayan airport from Batad. She cooks great meals. Options for vegans and vegetarians. Great prices. Hot water. Laundry services. Squat toilets. Cheap WiFi vouchers available. Beautiful view from the rooftop and good location for all the hiking in Batad. You can hike independently, or Lhoren can help you get a guide. Value massages available, offered by people all around town. Everyone knows Lhoren. If you need help finding her place just ask around. Also, walking sticks available to use! We look forward to recommending this place to our friends and would stay again.

Location of the accommodation was central to everything. The hosts were amazing and went out and beyond to make sure your stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They offer tours where Tani (owner) was our personal tour guide and made the tours super enjoyable and educated us on the area aswell. Tani also organized a private trip to Sagada which went beyond our expectorations.

It's a nice place. Close to everything. The owner was kind to let us check in very early because we are arrived from Manila early morning. The room and the whole place is very nice. Grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, parking place, etc basically next to the accomodation.

The room is clean, the staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful, the location is excellent, their restaurant is diverse and delicious, I recommend it, they are very helpful

Beatriz is simply the best host. I showed up and she turned an idea for mg birthday into an event and one for the memory books. She is also a lovely person to chat with and she can arrange pretty much anything you can think of and keep your needs in mind. Met a lot of great folks in the town and enjoyed meeting the guests. Only place to stay and can see why the reviews led me here and exceeded my expectations.
