Places to Stay in Chiayi City

Spacious and comfortable room. Good location. Breakfast had a top of pretty good options.

Beautiful property / little oasis in Chiayi. Booked a room with a tub, and loved that the room included local teas.

Breakfast buffet was excellent! Lots to select from... Both western and Chinese dishes. 5 of us were vegetarian so we had plenty to eat!! 😊. Swimming pool was great! A life guard was on duty too.

Lovely hotel with fantastic buffet breakfast and conveniently located to restaurants, night market and local attractions. As we were travelling by bicycle we appreciated being able to securely store our bikes while staying at the hotel. Welcome fruit slushy drink upon arrival was amazing!!

Booked Premium Quadruple Room (2 double beds). Room was very clean & spacious and comes with 2 toilets with showers. Huge breakfast spread.

Relatively easy to get to. From Taipei, we took HSR to Chiayi, upon arrival we learned that HSR offered a FREE shuttle in to town called THSR/BRT bus. Just show your HSR ticket and get on the bus. Show the driver that you will stay at VOCO and he drops you off at a bus stop near the front. Hotel offered 3 restaurants but needed reservations. 7-eleven and PX mart are only a couple blocks away so we were able to make a meal of it.

Very clean and high class. Facilities were great and so were the staff.

It's very spacious. I especially like the large windows allowing for sufficient sunlight. The room seems to be located at the back of the building, facing a little park so overall the atmosphere is very calm and quiet.

Free breakfast was a bonus. We particularly enjoyed the fruits! The room was spotless and a lot bigger than we expected, and we even had a window, overlooking the city. It was better than what we expected. The bed was also large, and very spacious. We also had free Taiwanese News paper hahaha! Delivered every mornning. The toilet was spotless too, and I LOOOOVED the scent of the shampoo and soap. :) Really happy with the place.

Nice to have had paper towels in the kitchen, and dishwashing detergent. Also nice that tea bags were provided at the front lobby. Nice to have reception staff for check in/out and answer any questions.

The front desk staff were very professional. We asked about arranging a taxi the day before departure, and everything was prepared exactly as requested on the morning we left. The room was spacious, very clean, and featured wooden flooring with plenty of power outlets. Most of the outlets are two-pin, so be sure to bring an adapter if needed. We arrived late at night and found limited food options nearby, but there is a 7-Eleven about a 5-minute walk away, which was convenient.

I only stayed for the night, but the room was cute and comfy. Host was wonderful. There is a strict check in time but it is only about a 15 minute walk from the main station.

Clean, convenient, good value for money and close to the train station.

The staff! Facilities! and it’s location! The staff even let me take a nap at their lounging area since I was too early for check-in. They even have a small kitchen for you basic dining needs. Free water. Lounging area that is super cozy! And the balcony where you can do people watching. A perfect place for SOLO TRAVELERS! The convenience store, and the night market is just a short walk from the hotel. THE STAFF - EXCEPTIONAL! Super accommodating and helpful!
