United StatesWe have stayed at Surfside for 30 years and it always delivers. Breakfast buffet is great with friendly staff. Very clean. All employees interacted with us. Coffee station in the lobby is very appreciated. We like the off season.

United StatesVery beautiful home and beautifully decorated! Gorgeous location! They provided everything you could possibly need. The view of the sound was amazing. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. All the extras like the games, the downstairs area with ping pong and foosball was so nice. It’s was so thoughtful to provide all the beach equipment. We loved the area with so much to do. We didn’t want to leave! We would definitely like to come back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

United StatesVintage vibe. Reminded me of my trips here when I was a teen. Older facility, but that's why I chose to stay here. That 1970's feel and only a few steps from the beach. Very close to convenience stores and restaurants. Very reasonably priced. Rocking chairs on the porch. I would stay there again.

South KoreaI loved it so much I stayed two extra days! Late August stay for 8 days. Directly on a beautiful beach with good sand and easy waves. Not overly crowded. Friendly and extra helpful staff; thanks Valorie and Shawn! My 3rd floor suite was fantastic: fully stocked kitchenware for cooking and a perfect, unobstructed view from the balcony looking right over the sand to the waves and pier. I loved that I could bring my dog. The place was so clean and everything was new. Walking distance to restaurants and mini-marts. Loved the outdoor shower to wash off the salt and sand.
A quick drive to fine dining and casual spots, spas for mani/pedis, and massages! Excellent location.
[Recommendation: install a couple of EV chargers for hotel guests :-) Several of us EV cars on property and the closest charger is in Kitty Hawk]
Can't wait to return to Mia's. I needed serious RnR and I got it!

Comfortable bed. The location for our purposes was good. The staff were obliging. Great store directly across the street. Walk to beach, restaurants. Microwave and fridge. Quiet at night.

The bathroom was very tight. The shower head was terrible. Granted , this is an old hotel. It was very clean. The staff was nice. The beds need to be updated. But the price was ok and the location was close to most everything.

Breakfast was amazing! Best we have ever seen at a hotel. Outdoor pool was open which we were not expecting. Indoor pool warm, hot tub was nice. Great location. Quiet hotel. Kids enjoyed the cookies at night.

Great location. Been coming here for years. It is very dated and needs more than cosmetic attention. Beds were lumpy, wore out and unsleepable.
