United StatesVery Happy. This was a lovely little place to spend some time with loved ones. Wildlife frolicking. Location is great. House is quiet, clean, light and airy. Close enough SEATAC airport to get to a same day flight out and Mt Rainier for hiking. The hot tub was clean and fully functional.
Kitchen is pretty stock, but recommend bringing cooking oil. Grill worked great and easily accessible.
Packwood Brewery!!! Tina and Bruce. Everything closes super early. They hooked me up with food well after closing due to a medical condition.
Heads up:
No stores except basic mini type marts. I regret not stopping in Enumclaw or Centralia for a real grocery store.
Restaurants close by 8ish.(Go to the Packwood Brewery. Family owned, super nice and got me food well after closing the kitchen!)
The driveway super steep and rocky. My Nissan Altima struggled unless we got good speed which kicked up rocks and it sounded bad

United StatesPerfect location - 20 minutes from White Pass lodge and easy to find. House is comfortable, nicely decorated and welcoming. Plenty of sleeping room and room to hang out, with living room downstairs and rec room upstairs. Beds are super comfy, and house has all the amenities. Very clean. Host is very responsive and helpful. Would recommend and stay there again.

Great location close to MT Ranier National park and not too far from Mt Saint Helens national monument. Also the motel is in the centre of town so a very short walk from shops and eating places. Packwood is a charming little town.

Beautiful hotel building and rooms, the dining / community area is practical and needed because the rooms are pretty small, good location to reach the National Park through the forest road (if it is open). We saw Wapiti walking on the road in the morning behind the hotel.

Excellent motel convenient to several mountains and recreation areas. Clean, comfortable rooms. Two sinks - perfect for sharing a room. Only a short drive to downtown restaurants, brewery and coffee shop. Cozy lobby with games, TV and light snacks.

Location was excellent (had they not have closed the nearby National Park entrance). Room was clean and comfortable. Good to have availability of laundry on-site. Seemed relatively expensive, but there are not many options in the town (we did not realize we had booked just before the annual flea market, so perhaps that added to the minimal options available). Staff on the front desk not particularly friendly. No breakfast.

Large room, large bathroom. One hour drive to Sunrise, and one hour drive to Paradise at Mt Rainier National Park. I chose this Lodge only because of its location.

Property was in a quiet location which was nice and not far from the centre of town or Mount Rainier National Park which was what we were there to see. Room was quite a decent size as well as the bathroom so plenty of room!

Hotel Packwood was a wonderful historic place to stay, near to Mount Rainier and Mount Adams, a perfect stop for our Pacific Northwest roadtrip. It's clear that the hotel has been restored beautifully and being taken care of. We loved sitting out in the porch in the evening, having tea and watching the odd elk walk past. The staff were very helpful in their tips about hiking in the area. The check in and out process was super easy and the room was very beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay again.
