ThailandThe hosts were very friendly, even though there was a language barrier, they were very helpful. Dinner at the place was great! Breakfast was good but simple (Great coffee and toast). The whole place just got renovated so it was modern and nice. Wifi didn't work but we had a good phone reception so it was fine. Great pit stop when you go to Santander.

Puerto RicoLocation: The Camino Francès passes in front of of the property. Condition: The areas are well kept, they have space in front and back to sit as well in the lobby area. The room was comfortable and clean so as the bathroom. The pilgrims dinner, was very good. Our host: Sandra a wonderful and resourceful person. We felt home.

Good location for Camino walkers. I stayed in a private room with an ensuite bathroom. The room is basic but clean. There is a restaurant in the building next to the hotel which offers a menu for pilgrims (however the food wasn't amazing). There is a breakfast option as well (not included)Overall not a bad place to stay

It was somewhat complicated as we couldn't find the building, ultimately we found the father of the property guy and he showed us around, but spoke only Spanish. The only really good thing was the location as it was close to historic city center, although just across the river these outdated modern high rise building(s) were somewhat worn out, but clean with 3 bathrooms.

Location is just perfect. In city center but not exactly so it’s quiet and everything within walking distance. The staff is very kind and helpful. Easy check in and out.

We stay here every time we come through Burgos. Lovely house and owner. The location is perfect and secure parking a great bonus. Pretty walks into the centre and lots of great places to eat and drink. Great place to stay! We will be back (again!) 😁

Beautiful old building in the heart of the old town, nice room, bars and restaurants near by, a perfect place to stay over on my journey to and from Portugal. Staff are helpful and curteous. Nice bar downstairs that serves Tapas.

Convenient location just across the river from city centre. Able to drop-off immediately outside. with underground public parking in adjacent street, token provided by hotel. Breakfast excellent with variety of fresh produce. All staff very helpful and informative

We had a lovely stay, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Ideal location for a 20mins walk into the old town which was beautiful. We had lunch at the hotel and sat outside on the terrace as we had our dog with us. Good breakfast served in the next door restaurant.

We had a really enjoyable stay at La Gandara. The hotel is very pretty, set in a tiny village in a stunning location. Javier was very welcoming and informative. We stayed in October with very hot days cooling a little in the evening when we were very happy to sit in front of a log fire. Breakfast and dinner were both included, with set menus, different each day, simple and delicious. This is a wonderful place to stay and we hope to return.
