This property is about a 10 min walk away from the port. Nice and quiet location while close to everything. Katerina (hope I spelled her name right) greeted me with open arms. She was able to accommodate with me wanting to check in at 12pm (3 hrs ahead of scheduled time) even though I notified her very last minute. She even upgraded my room with a little patio!! They cleaned my room everyday and even provided tea and coffee to make. Kitchen had the basic essentials (stove, kettle, utensils, bowls, pots). at the end of my stay, Katerina even gave me a little gift to remember Naxos :)

My stay at the brand new Alas Hotel on Naxos Island was extraordinary. Its new, very clean, and perfectly located close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. What a perfect location. The room was perfect, clean, and well equipped. A lovely area right off our room with a fridge, coffee pot and dishes/ glasses. It was so nice to have purchased Greek yogurt and Greek honey, pastries, etc for breakfast on the terrace. We loved the terrace at night, too for a nightcap. You just walk out the door and down a few steps, cross the street and. you are at the beautiful, clean, clear water beach. The beach has amazing restaurants and mini mart for anything you would need. We were surprised at how convenient everything was. The bus stop is just a few steps from Aesthete Suites and the schedule is convenient and the buses are a perfect way to get to Naxos town. Best part? No cruise ships. The hostess Vicky was amazing - she gave us her list of must do items while in Naxos and we were very appreciative. Gave us bus schedule in English. Arranged to have our laundry done- so helpful as we packed for 3 weeks in carry-ons! Half day trip we purchased from the bus station in old Naxos town was a perfect way to see much more of the island.

I expected a nice hotel, and Akre Hotel greatly exceeded these expectations, which was wonderful! Mrs Eleni and her team, Mrs Despina, Elena, and Chrysa, are amazing hosts. Akre Hotel is a brand new hotel that is beautifully designed, has excellent facilities, and has its own private beach. The sea water where they are located is very clean and crystal clear, we loved it, and we really enjoyed the privacy there. It goes without saying that the view from the hotel is breathtaking. Another thing we enjoyed was the food, the breakfast is healthy and has a traditional touch, and there are delicious options for lunch and dinner. Some rooms have their own jacuzzi, an option I definitely recommend, because it was very relaxing to just stay there after spending the day at the beach. Location is always important, so not only is Akre Hotel situated nicely, but it is also close to Agios Prokopios Beach, with the restaurants that are next to it, and a petrol station. Last but not least, I really appreciate how Mrs Eleni and everyone at Akre Hotel were very friendly, very helpful, and very keen on us having an amazing time; this was one of the best places I ever stayed in!
