QatarOne of the best properties we have stayed ever. The staff were super courteous and extremely supportive. The property is very neat, well kept and everything about the hotel was just above expectation.
I need to call out some names of people who served us too well surprising industry standards. Mary, Roshni and Natasha from the first floor bar. Extremely courteous.
Sony and Holyland from the restaurant on the ground floor offered excellent service. Even the chef Tulsi came to our table and we shared some good feedback with him.

IndiaFirst we enquired our stay in Shillong which we can avoid traffic jam and not far from City and centre to many places to visit . Yeah! We choose it right THE TRAVELLER'S guest house, Happy we avoided wasting our time in traffic jams in which our schedules were tight perhaps still got a chance to visit Elephant's falls as it is close-by and one step away. This place located on the highway between roads which leads to Sohra (Cherrapunjee), Dawki, Mawlynong and Mawphlang Sacred groove, Mawsynram.
Separate room provided for driver and it was free. Parking space available.
Washroom with Western toilet was cleaned and tidy.
The room was cozy, convenient and spotless.
Free Wifi provided.
Staffs were very polite, etiquette and very helpful and they are knowledgeable.

It’s a new property, very clean and beautiful, location is also very good. Staff are really accommodating and owner always has a smile on his face. Value for money.
Need attention- breakfast could be better and should add in kitchen services for basic food items like magi, omelet because it rains in Shillong and food delivery doesn’t work all the time.
But these are minor inclusions. My overall experience was great.

The shelter Inn is the perfect place to stay in Shillong. It’s perfectly situated in the centre of Shillong and just a short walk away from some great restaurants, cafes and Shops.
The room that I used during my stay was clean and spacious.
The staff at the Shelter Inn were very friendly and more than happy to help with any questions that you might have whilst visiting the city.
I would highly recommend the Shelter Inn to anyone wanting the perfect stay, whilst visiting Shillong.
