IndiaI had a great stay at this dorm. The space was clean, comfortable, and well organized, with everything I needed for a relaxed peaceful visit. The host was very friendly, responsive and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay.
The location was also convenient, with easy access to local attractions and transportation with a huge and peaceful Monastery right beside it and the atmosphere inside the dorm was warm and perfect for meeting new people while still having enough privacy.
Overall, this was a wonderful and very budget friendly, high value for money stay. I’d definitely recommend it to solo travelers, students, or anyone looking for a simple, comfortable place to stay. I’d be happy to come back.

I liked everything about the property and its host. The location was amazing and peaceful, and its host were very friendly and helpful. Karma personally received us from 4 kms away and then led us to this hotel. the whole property was new like with everything having very good quality.

Situated close to the city centre.
Lot of small eateries around, so lack of a functional in-house restaurant was not felt.
Had a great time at the cafe, Great vibe with TV and Music.

Nothing to say. Just awesome. We felt we were at home. Meals were awesome. As for the location, it is little off you have to walk around 200-300 meters, but it's worth it.

My second visit here and it has only gotten better. The location is a definite highlight, but the most important aspect of Mellow Fellow Hostel is its staff - especially Annie, Samit, and Sonam, they are such warm people who do their best and more to make you feel at home. If you are visiting, please ask Sonam to sing, his singing definitely tugs at your heartstrings. Also, two of the world’s cutest dogs are waiting in the common area to play with you.

City chaos. The owner is an awesome person. We appreciate their dedication and determination towards the homestay. The interior and property is great and very beautiful. Food is very delicious.

I could see the dim outline of Kanchenjunga, not the clear view because it was hazy. Personally it was still good. Anyway April was not the right time to see the clear view. Michilero(backpacker in Spanish) Ostello(hostel in Italian) was a great place to stay in Pelling. Everything - home made food, family atmosphere - was perfect. And Wake in Himalayas, the hostel next to Mochilero Ostello, was also a nice place run by warm hearted family.
