United StatesThe place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

The stay is in the mountains so make sure you pack your lunch and dinner ahead since they only provide breakfast. They have a kitchen or microwave for you. They also have a water dispenser. The view is phenomenal here and you get to hike if you feel like it all the way to the top of the mountain for free. They also have cats and dogs.

This was a family trip, we booked three rooms, all of them were spacious. It was quite cold in Alishan, but the hot water supply was very good. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the white Shiba Inu was in heat and had been isolated and taken down the mountain, so we only saw the other two dogs. The staff sister recommended us to go up to see the sunset, but unfortunately, due to the haze, we didn't have a clear view. However, the location of this homestay is quite good, and our room had a view of the sunrise. Overall, we were very satisfied.

The location was stunning, the view from the balcony was beautiful.
The owners were so friendly and made a real effort to tell us about the tea, despite the fact that neither of us spoke Chinese. The tea itself was really special.
We paid for the evening meal, this, as well as the breakfast were delicious. I was really impressed that all the veg came from their garden.
The room was really spacious, the bed was massive and really comfortable, the bathroom was nice and clean.

As we rent driver , so the location is still accessible for us. We reached quite late but able to enjoy the night view of cherry blossom and I was so obsessed with the view. After settle down, we enjoy our supper at the open area, the owner is very nice and shared us a lot of Beauty of their tea farm. Definitely will visit again ~

The location was amazing and the married couple who ran the minsu was exceptionally kind. We had travelled to Alishan via public transport, so the couple offered to drive us from the minsu into town for dinner, and then back again. They were so welcoming, and were also able to accomodate our dietary restrictions (both vegetarian) for breakfast, which was very delicious! We were only able to stay for 1 night, but there's so much to see at Alishan, so we're definitely looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

The good: the personnel (owners) were fantastic. The rooms looked nice, and the beds were comfortable. There were no issues with hot water. Ample parking space and easy access from the road. The sunrise spot was okay. Poor ventilation, but kudos for the dehumidifier in the room. They had cool tea leaves and steamed buns for breakfast.
The location is good but not ideal if you plan to go to Alishan or Yushan. If you have a car, it's cool, but that spot might be difficult for travellers without a car.

Great location for all hikes in the area, and very conveniently located in walking distance from the village bus stop. I was even picked up by the host when i arrived. A very nice and big dinner can be booked, a very tasty breakfast is included. I loved my room and bathroom, everything seemed very clean and new. In the morning i participated in a (free) tea ceremony which was interesting and very good. You can also find many other places in the area doing something similar, but it really felt like a meditative ceremony and i loved the tea.

Great location. About 15mins walk to Shizhuo street where there is convenience stores and some restaurants. Altitude about 1300m. Has a seating area where you can chill and enjoy the scenery and weather with friends or family. There’s also a viewing platform few mins walk away. Very friendly staff. Amenities and breakfast provided. Can pre book dinner with minsu if not planning to head out for dinner.
Toilet is equipped with bidet.
Room is equipped with heater.

Magnificent view of surrounding tea plantation and sea of clouds in the mornings. Decent daily breakfast with a good variety (Taiwanese and western). Owners very generous and kindly helped us with pickup and drop-off at the downtown bus stop. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation!
Room and bathroom very clean and bright. Communal fridge and cold/hot water service just outside the rooms. Location is great for visits to Alishan national park.
