Lunch and breakfast was very delicious and with good variety. Room was very spacious and with two bedrooms. Nice and calm location.

There was nothing positive about the hotel itself; however, the nearby ski area was very convenient.

This hotel is located on the southern hills of the Thuringian Forest, directly on the popular Rennsteig hiking and cycling trail, in the historic health resort of Masserberg.

Locations around the hotel was good, although less restaurants options and sport activities but overall calm atmosphere.

The Rennsteighotel Kammweg is located in the village of Neustadt, next to the Rennsteig Hiking Trail. It offers quiet rooms, a small spa area, and a restaurant serving regional specialties.

Beautiful, isolated location. Very close to mountain hiking. Comfortable rooms and nice decor inside and out. Lovely green with lounge chairs. Almost all guests were Germans. Very good breakfast and nice restaurant for dinner. I didn’t get to the spa. The sauna opens in the afternoon.
