Hostel Loja is a comfy, clean stay with great value. Rooms are pretty basic but spotless, and I loved having a big bathroom! It's also nice having a coffee shop on the premises. Diego was a wonderfully accommodating host – he was very quick and helpful when I had some special requests – and he makes a great breakfast :)

I was looking for a hotel with some extra amenities (like a pool), but didn't want to break the bank. This hotel is a real find! It was just 2 blocks from the beach, right across from the flamingos - which was a great location. My room was good sized and had a fridge, AC, and an ample closet area to unpack. The hotel offers a nice breakfast and plenty of common spaces to relax. The pool is small, but clean and well-maintained. The jacuzzi on the roof, overlooking the whole area, was an amazing surprise! But, the best part is the staff. Plenty of hotels have nice staff, but Emmanuel and Gian really bent over backwards to make sure I had a wonderful stay. I ended up booking a tour with them and it was terrific, as well, exactly as promised.

The location was very scenic, quiet, and a reasonable distance from town (although it took us a bit to get our bearings). The views and serenity from the rooftop were excellent and we had nice family time there. The Coral Blanco staff was very helpful, and we tremendously enjoyed the Los Tunneles and Sierra Negra tours that they arranged. The two bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed using the kitchen. It was a nice place from which we could explore the beautiful island.
