Charming, delightful, tranquil, very clean hotel with friendly, efficient and accommodating staff especially Shay and Deusa. Added bonus Free breakfast: delicious with a variety to choose from. The Spanish omelette and freshly squeezed orange juice were the breakfast highlights for us. We only stayed for one night but could easily have stayed for longer (perhaps next time we're passing through the area again). Our rooms were on the ground floor, very useful for my elderly mother plus we had the view of our car directly in front of the windows which made loading our bags etc easier by passing them through the windows.

Hospedería Señorío de Briñas is a charming historical palace in the heart of the Rioja region. the property does not have a spa, but only a small summer pool.

A Pleasant Stay in the Heart of La Rioja I recently had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Ciudad de Haro. This hotel offers a great blend of traditional charm and comfortable amenities, making it a solid choice for exploring the La Rioja wine region. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and good advice, which really made a difference to our experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. We particularly appreciated the ample free parking, which is a huge convenience when traveling by car. The pool area was a lovely bonus, offering a refreshing spot to relax and unwind, especially after a warm day. While our stay was largely excellent, a few minor touches could elevate the experience further. The decor, while charming, felt a little dated in some areas, and the air conditioning in our room, while functional, wasn't as powerful as we'd hoped on a particularly warm evening. Overall, the Hotel Ciudad de Haro provides excellent value and a very welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring Haro and the surrounding wineries, and I would certainly recommend it for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
