The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the hotel's "no music" policy preserves its serene atmosphere, offering a perfect escape from city life. I have an autistic boy who enjoys seeing the sunset at Peten Itza Lake. I'm really thankful to all the staff who made my son's dream of having a campfire near the lake while enjoying the sunset. This is likely one of the most beautiful places to stay in Peten, the hotel has incredible views of lake Peten Itza at pretty much every corner. A cool funicular that will take you to the a small dock on the lower part, where you will be able to jump in the lake and continue to admire the scenery. To that you can add really nice food at the restaurant that has enough variety to not taste the same food on a week long trip. But, the best thing about this place is it’s amazing staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, they will treat you like family. They gave us a lot of tips about where to go and how to get there, they always welcomed us back with a smile, a cold towel and a clean room.

Clean, nice linens, tall bed, outlet by bed, big bathroom, decent shower, air conditioning, shelving and desk, water provided, excellent staff. Close to mercado and bus terminal, walking distance to Isla. Did I say excellent staff? Lovely people, good atmosphere, nice outdoor space with pool and food service.
