This was a truly wonderful stay at Pondok Nyoman. Ideally located in central Bali close to the lakes, multiple waterfalls, etc. The views from the homestay are very special & the ambience also makes it feel almost like a retreat perfect for getting away from the busier parts of Bali. The owner Nyoman makes you feel so welcoming along with his staff & they go out of there way to make your experience in Bali as authentic as possible. There's always someone there to drive you about or if your preference is to scooter they are a available at a very good rate. I extended my stay from 3-8 days, everyone I met over those days extended too, can't give more praise than that. Check it out, you will love it...

We picked The Garuda Villa and Restaurant as a stop on our journey because it was right in the middle of our route. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the complex turned out to be bigger than we expected from the photos. The garden is lovely, and the rooftop offers a beautiful view. The staff is incredibly friendly, which made our stay even better. There’s also a small but nice pool—perfect for cooling off on hot days. Plus, the WiFi is excellent! In the evening, we ate at the restaurant, which had a huge selection of dishes and tasted absolutely delicious. A great place to take a break and relax. Would stay again!

My stay at Manigelang Villa was an absolute highlight of my trip. Nestled deep in the mountains, the property offers a level of quietness and coziness that is hard to find. The room felt incredibly luxurious for the price point, providing a perfect sanctuary to relax in. I spent a lot of time in the beautiful garden, which had a lovely, natural fragrance that added to the overall atmosphere of the retreat. The sunset views from the villa are breathtaking and were a daily highlight, while having the pool was such a nice bonus for cooling off in the afternoons. One of the biggest surprises was the quality of the food; the Vegan Satay in particular was extremely tasty and easily some of the best I’ve had. Beyond the facilities, the employees were so nice and helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed. If you are looking for a peaceful, high-quality mountain escape, this is the perfect place.

My villa was spacious, clean, and featured a stunning private balcony overlooking the greenery. Waking up to the sound of birds and mist rolling over the hills was truly magical. Best holiday at Pondoks place we really loved the very special Balinese hotel, with views to the rice fields and own temple. The pictures even don’t show how beautiful the place is, every room has views to the rice fields and the swimming pool area is perfect. Also the rooftop restaurants are stunning 🤩 with the views. Also the owner is such a lovely man, he also went with us to see local attractions and we had nice conversations with him. Thank you for the great stay and we will come back for sure!

The villas were beautiful, very spacious and clean. Giriwood has a lot of amenities like the swimming pool, ping pong & billiard table, and a TV with Netflix account in each room. The snacks and water bottles in our room were replenished daily, which we found a really nice gesture. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we basically only ate in the restaurant of Giriwood.

The place is very quiet, we were in 5 hotels, resorts and villas in Bali, this was the best place to stay. Away from the noisy Bali, you will be staying in your own villa with a magnificent view to the nature. The swimming pool is warmed from 8 to 8 pm. You can play billiard, table tennis. The TVs are with Netflix included from the owner. I loved this place. Sadly we have only stayed for one night. The restaurant was the best. The breakfast was very good.

The gardens were beautifully designed and very well kept with plants and fish ponds. The room 4 on the top floor had a wonderful view of the mountain out the window and was quiet. The swimming pool was small but had a lovely view overlooking the valley.
