Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and very accommodating . Zul took us on a walk through the paddies and village and taught us so much about life in Loyok. He was fantastic with our children making them necklaces and kazoos using plants. A wonderful and memorable time spent in this special village.

We wish we had more time. This was a great stay. The villas are locally owned and operated, and the staff is exceptional. The villas are new, very clean, and comfortable. Our kids had a great time swimming in the pool and playing Jenga, which made it feel relaxed and family-friendly. We also took a tour to see local handicrafts. I am usually skeptical of these kinds of tours, but this one was genuinely a treat. Each craft and skill that was shared helped us truly appreciate the effort behind the work of each artisan collective. The kids loved weaving baskets, shaping pottery, and seeing how weaving is done. The artists were incredibly generous with their time, and it would be a shame to visit the area without meeting the people behind the goods they sell. We especially loved the hand-woven fabric. It was too beautiful to pass up.

The property was in a very quiet spot in the middle of nowhere. It was very peaceful and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were great, and the bed was very comfy. It was also nice to have my own little pool! I was a bit worried after reading one of the reviews, so I booked for just 3 nights, but after seeing how nice it was, I extended my stay for another 8 nights.

Many activities offered by Woody and his team, we've done/seen so much it's hard to summarize in a few words. First day we arrived late and he brought us to the best massage we've had in indonesia and then had a fishing contest with the locals. 2nd day we did a tour around Tetebatu, saw how the sarrongs are crafted here, did pottery, bamboo handcrafting, saw many rice fields and tasted their "jungle juice" before eating one of the best fish we've had in Woody's place. Last day we did a walking tour to see the monkeys, walk around the plantations and see amazing hidden waterfalls and ended our day seeing locals compete with big spinning tops. To sum up, Woody and his team are great human beings, very knowledgeable, and to whom you can ask anything, they'll always do their best to ensure you like your stay. Highly recommend 👌
