This property is magnificent. A total 10 plus in every way. It is a unique experience to spend a few days in a grand mansion. Not only did we have a spacious and beautiful best suite, we also had a glorious sitting room and eating area with a gorgeous wisteria laden patio with views of the expansive garden and on site church. The property is a dream. A beautiful setting for a wedding or private party in addition to a wonderful quiet stay for just a couple , as we were. The owner is charming and attentive tomorrow every need. A great experience!!!

The property was gorgeous, our room was very spacious and comfortable, and there were a variety of common areas to enjoy. The breakfast was wonderful, tailored to each guest, and included the freshest orange juice and a variety of delicious homemade cakes. Location was good as the distances to the various towns was fairly equal. Being in the countryside, it was very quiet. We didn't have a chance to use the outdoor facilities due to the weather but they all looked nice (ie pool, patio, bbq).

Villa Itriò is located less than 10 minutes from Martina Franca. The location is perfect for those looking to explore the region. From here we spent a day at Monopoli, dinner and apertivo in Locorotondo, Ostuni and Martina Franca; and even a day trip to Matera. In fact, we also spent hours by the beautiful and peaceful pool on the property. Rossella is the host. She is incredible. She is super friendly and willing to help with most everything to make your stay in the Valley memorable. She helped coordinate car service from the airport and with dinner reservations. She is wonderful. Breakfast was great! Each day was different and featured homemade local fare. You can tell Rossella cares deeply about her property and her guests. Villa Itriò took at least 6 years to build. You can tell the amount of care and attention to detail that went into the design of the structure that she created. The stone used for the ceilings in each guestroom and the main room, on the veranda and around the property were each mined from a quarry in the Valley. There was much care taken to create this property. Each bedroom has a very comfortable bed, is very clean and spacious and with excellent air conditioning. Great attention to detail is taken to deliver a memorable experience for her guests. It is clear that this property is different than most that we researched for our trip to Puglia and we are very glad we chose Villa Itriò. We appreciated greatly Rossella’s take on the Trulli-stay and recommend it highly.
