We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the newly opened Kiyomizu Elite Terrace . The rooms are genuinely spacious for Kyoto, which was such a relief after staying in smaller city hotels—we could actually move around with our luggage . The location is fantastic, tucked away in a quiet Japanese courtyard yet within walking distance to Kiyomizu Temple and Kamo River . There is complimentary 24/7 coffee, juice, and water machines in the lobby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a comfortable, peaceful base in Kyoto.
