Attentive staff, enjoyable location: wish there was more information about Awaji Island because there's a lot to do on island: cycling and motorcycling destination: roads good, variation & beautiful views, botanical garden excellent and worth a visit, Isamu Noguchi's garden-studio is only 1hr away and should be included in "Art Island" itinerary along with botanical garden which features Ando designed garden. Island isn't mentioned in Lonely Planet's Japan guide book. Also, public onsens available ~20mins from resort which doesn't have an onsen. Seems to be a frequent question so notifying guests of alternatives during your stay is a good solution.

Naruto Kaigetsu features rooms in Naruto. The 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free Wifi. The family-friendly restaurant serves local dishes.
