This is a nice mountain chalet at Altyn Arashan. The chalet is nice and it's basically equipped. There's also electricity to charge the phones etc. From summer 2025 Starlink WiFi should be available. The beds are quite comfortable. There are some sheets, you might bring your own sheets if you wish. Toilet is nearby in the woods, "bathroom" at the small river nearby. So full romantics. There are nice mountains all around. Once can walk to the mountain pass, this would take some 5 hours. There are also many horses nearby, but we did not try to rent/ride. We also ordered breakfast and dinner, both served at the table in the chalet. The food was good, otherwise there are not many other choices (like restaurants etc). 2 mineral hot baths are available for free after a bit of walk. Just opposite the river there are also hot spring cabins to rent (250 per person for 1 hour). The temperature of the water is quite hot. We liked the cabine 6 in particular. From ak-suu it's 4-5 hours hike or 2 hours drive with a special mountain car that can also be arranged with the owner of the chalet. We took the car for both journeys and it was very interesting experience. In principle it's better to arrive/ leave by car and go hiking to the higher mountains.
