Hotels with Pools in Chilaw

We loved the mix of boutique hotel and guesthouse, where you leave your shoes at the front door. The calm, rural location is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city business. The rooms, bathrooms, and balconies are spacious. The stairs to the 1st floor are very comfortable, with low risers. I enjoyed practicing yoga in the multi-event room, with a view out onto the ocean. The pool was appreciated, as ocean swimming is difficult. We quickly felt at home. Meals are prepared from scratch, so your personal preferences can be included. Both owners and all the staff are welcoming and helpful.

I'm not sure I can explain how special this property is. When driving toward it on the beach road you might think you made a wrong turn past the wildlife sanctuary. It is situated on a remote stretch of beach where you can walk for miles without seeing others. On the back side of the property, a tranquil lagoon teaming with unmatched bird life that can entertain you for hours. The moment you arrive time seems to no longer matter. Your bungalow has two balconies so you can enjoy sunrise and sunset and always have a spot in the shade. The swimming pool is perfection and the air is fresh. This is truly a retreat from any chaos you might experience in life. It is not fancy. The beds are as comfortable as any five star resort, and wonderful authentic Sri Lankan food served with love are highlights. But, I must say, the most treasured time at Twin Waters was time spent with Eddie. He went out of his way on all levels to make us feel like we were the most welcomed people in his home.

Super nice spot. Mich cooler than even expected. Beautiful A frame cabin type large rooms with lots of amenities on a beautiful property. They have a great breakfast and two fruit juices all on the house.

It was an amazing experience. Value for money and service standards were great.
