This property was really wonderful. It's funky in a good way with a beautiful pool, places to relax, and delicious food. The location was really great as well as we were in the middle of the jungle listening to the birds all and feeling the peace of nature.

Probably the best place we’ve stayed anywhere. Gardens,pool,staff everything excellent. Probably on the higher price range for Sri Lanka but same place in Europe or Australia or USA would be triple price.Our own private pool etc amid beautiful setting.Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Habarana.

This is a fantastic hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is convenient to the central area of Habrana. Very clean and lots of space. Wonderfull breakfast with a choice for every diet. Very kind staff and great value for money.♥️

We had an amazing stay. The grounds are just dreamy. We stayed in the two rooms with the pool view; I recommend these rooms; they are very special and just add to the experience. Everywhere is clean and very well maintained including the rooms and gardens. It's idyllic, and the tranquil garden hosts beautiful wildlife like squirrels, monkeys and birds. We used the pool and were given towels to use. However, what made our trip extra special was the amazing staff; Chamara and his team couldn't do enough for us and often went out of their way to accommodate requests and to make breakfast for us before we went out early. The food is delicious! We recommend the set menu. Breakfast is freshly made, and plentiful, and the location of the breakfast is beautiful. We cannot thank the staff enough for making the stay special. They also gave us lots of information about tours and local attractions. We would highly recommend this newly opened hotel before it gets more popular and, I'm sure, becomes fully booked out. Compared to other hotels, we have stayed in this price range non have compared to this one, and we hope to go back one day.

During my trip to Polonnaruwa, my car broke down in Habarana, forcing me to stay overnight. I booked a room at Gabaa Resort, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience despite the unexpected situation. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me find a reliable garage and get my car fixed promptly. The room was clean and comfortable, providing much-needed relaxation. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations. Though my stay was brief, the exceptional service and hospitality left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The staff were super friendly at all times. We really loved the food, breakfast has a big variety of dishes and it was delicious! The bungalow is amazing too, a comfortable and beautiful place in the middle of nature with a private pool - we enjoyed a lot! I highly recommend!

Hospitality here was truly next level, with the manager and staff going above and beyond for us throughout our stay. When our early morning train was delayed, they took us to the station at 4:30am, waited with us, brought us back to the hotel, offered coffee and a small breakfast free of charge and then drove us back again, staying until we were safely on the train. The massages were incredible and clearly done by skilled therapists. Room and bathroom were modest but very clean and spacious and the terrace overlooking the lake was peaceful and tranquil. Overall, genuinely kind and lovely people who made our stay in this really relaxing lakeside setting exceptional.

Super friendly host and made us stay at home with the fantastic host. Clean, comfortable and quiet place with a beautiful balcony view. Delicious local cuisine breakfast and dishes. The host helped us visit different places (spa, historical places, etc) with his tuk tuk.

Dinner was excellent, very flavorful and served with kindness. View was great. The bathroom is wonderful, loved the different shower settings. Pool is cute and well maintained. The hosts/caretakers are very kind and do their best to make the stay good.

The hotel had a calm and welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The room was comfortable and clean, the pool area was enjoyable, and the staff were attentive and courteous throughout my stay. The natural surroundings added to the overall experience and made the property feel peaceful and unique.

Comfortable bed, new and clean. Stayed 3 nights and had breakfast and dinner each day and really enjoyed each meal.

We stayed a night at Tiara Elephant Lodge and it was so peaceful and mind relaxing.. The swimming pool was well maintained.. The food was delicious.. The staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant, specially Mr. Athula.. He made things very convenient for us... We enjoyed our stay....
