Amazing place to stay on the south coast. 7 minute walk to surf, food, beach. Perfect setup for working - very fast internet. Room is very comfortable and great AC. Charming garden, terrace, and pool. Jaro's hospitality is second to none. He helped me with scooter, taxi, surfboards, and has local connections and recommendations for anything you need. He's also a fantastic cook and would do group dinners for everyone (opt-in). This is a place I'll come back to next season!

The couple who run the hotel are amazing, treated us like part of the family & were so kind and generous. All the staff are attentive & always on call but respect your privacy at the same time. Great spacious rooms & lovely pool. Great location 2 minute walk from lazy left.

Everything was just perfect. Had a Panoramic room and the view is fantastic. Food in the restaurant was very delicious. Service is great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Amazing beach in front of the hotel too.

Lotus is such a beautiful place to stay as a solo traveller in Sri Lanka. Best family vibes, owners are so kind and Liam is an amazing surf coach. Great quiet location away from the train line, but still close walking distance to lots of surf breaks. The team is always willing to help with any planning or ideas, and they make you feel so safe (which is not always the case in Sri Lanka). I had some booking date changes and they were so accomodating in helping me with this, highly recommend for someone looking for a real Sri Lankan experience with cosy amenities.

Our stay at the villa in Ahangama was truly unforgettable. The villa was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with attention to every detail. We were especially impressed that they came early in the morning to prepare breakfast for us at the house. It was such a kind and special gesture. We truly felt at home throughout our stay. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality, kindness, and attentiveness. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Ahangama and would definitely love to come back again.
