The property is breathtaking. Beachfront on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The grounds are also beautiful and well maintained. The cabana was perfect. The staff are super friendly and kind. Favorite stay in all of my Sri Lanka trip.

Everything. This place is enchanting and exceeded our already high expectations multiple times over. We already changed our plans for the second half of our Sri Lankan trip to come back here - nowhere else can you find the tranquility, comfort, peace and easy access to an unspoilt beach. Staff are so friendly and willing and the owners are on hand at all times to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We absolutely loved our stay here, with amazing views of the beach, the sound of the waves as we chilled during the day and really great food for breakast, lunch and dinner. We couldn't recommend this hotel more!

We stayed for only two nights, but got a free room upgrade to stay in a cute cabana right on the beach! The location is like paradise with empty beaches, palm trees, and the ocean as far as you can see. The pool is a great addition since the strong currents make swimming in the sea basically impossible. Thank you for a great stay! :)

Nice accommodation with everything you need. We had an apartment that was spacious and had everything you need. Very large balcony. Only the kitchen lacked basic things (plates, dishes), so we didn't use it. It was great that we had breakfast and dinner included in the price. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is in a top location and a starting point for great walks, where there are many nice places nearby, where you don't need transportation. The pool was also a bonus.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly, the staff goes out of their way for the guests. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. I loved spending time by the pool bird watching. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Our stay was exceptional, I had the hotel almost entirely for myself. The pool is large and clean, with all services there. Room is incredibly comfortable, right into the beach, all rooms have a nice balcony. Hotel is super clean !!! Bed is huge and super soft and cozy, all services available including a mini bar in the room, fridge kettle and table. Shower is in on, sadly I didn’t get hot water but hair dryer, bathrobe and clean towels available All staff was very welcoming but Sangeewa the restaurant Capitán was amazing, he took care of us and suggested us menu options. Also in our last night he and the staff prepared a beautiful dinner table for us. The location is a bit isolated, therefore the hotel is perfect is excellent for an scape from chaos. Nights are very peaceful there The staff helped us the book some tours and rent a scooter to move around easily. Definitely my best stay in Sri Lanka +++ they sterilised the glasses for best hygiene purposes

What a gem! 6 delightful bungalows in a pretty garden with a good 16 metre pool that was 20 metres from the beach. A superb little restaurant. Helpful staff. A sublime stay.

Comfort, breakfast, great location

Amazing place and value. Property was absolutely beautiful inside, gorgeous bathroom and shower, bed, and high ceilings. All so clean too. 2 pools to use and so close to Tangalle beach (2 mins walk). Sanju, the staff member who welcomed us and checked us out was very friendly and professional! A credit to the place. We wished we could have stayed here longer! Very satisfied customers.

Stuart House was truly an amazing experience. I visited with a group of friends, and the place exceeded all of our expectations. The house is beautifully preserved, blending historic charm with modern architecture to provide guests with a unique and delightful experience. It was impeccably clean, spacious, and filled with stunning colonial furniture. The atmosphere was picturesque, perfect for a memorable stay. Krishni Gunawardena, the owner, is incredibly friendly and attentive. She made sure we were well-settled and enjoying our stay. A special mention goes to Ajantha, who was always there to assist us. His helpfulness and readiness to assist deserve a full 5 stars. The location is also ideal—just 350 meters from the beach and a 5-minute walk to town. The house and the spacious washrooms were spotless, adding to the comfort of our stay. We are definitely coming back!

It was outstanding villa everything was great my daughter enjoyed the pool , but expecting some insect and spider its normal. Owner super friendly.

Huge room and a short walk to the beach, loads to see and do nearby….plus the staff, as with everywhere in Sri Lanka, were beyond helpful and friendly!
