Really lovely humble place. Quite grand, lovely hot tub that's actually hot and nice little pool with great views. Incredible location looking out onto the hills and super peaceful, in gorgeous gardens. Staff were all super super lovely, very welcoming and personable. Overall a lovely stay, great value for money and somewhere I'd happily return to.

As everyone has said, host Muriel is an absolute gem - so friendly and welcoming. The cottage was beautifully dressed for Christmas, had everything we needed and was very clean and warm. I'm sure we will be back!

The staff were particularly nice and accommodating.the room was spotless and the comments about it being dated are unfair, it is class and quality in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again but I would eat at their restaurant rather than locally as it is very appealing and the pub we went to was exceptionally underwhelming.
