The people were amazing at this hotel. Mario, Wendy and Rosme were amazing. I arrived with my husband and three children, one of which was an infant. When they saw my family they immediately upgraded our room bc they wanted us to have more room and feel more comfortable with the family at no additional cost. The girls that work there were so attentive, they saw us drying our wet clothes and immediately took them and said they would do it! They were always sweet with my kids and even offered to watch my baby while I was eating. They were the most welcoming people and not to mention the beautiful scenery and grounds. I did not want to leave!!!! Very special place, pristine and gorgeous.

The location is beautiful, fronting to the river, and the restaurant and decking area with hammocks are lovely. My room was huge, with a good en suite and balcony. The staff were lovely, collecting me from Rio Dulce after I called them on my arrival .They organized my onward travel to Livingstone and I was able to use the kayaks which was fun. Food was good, breakfast included in the price. Not very busy - but it should be!
