This was my first time in Lamu and i loved this hotel, it was in the middle of lamu town and very convinient to walk about and see the town, it was also right at the sea front and close to the jetty so we were able to easily catch boats to the other islands. This place is very beautiful, the antique decor was breath taking and intentional. I would highly recommend!

He is always available and ready to help with organizing tours, boat rides and will always try to get the best prices for his guests. . He has flexible breakfast time that suits every guest. The Swahili breakfast was amazing.

If you want an authentic experience in Lamu, stay here. Host Malik is excellent and responsive and very caring. He arranged all of our excursions with reliable informative guides and boats. We were prepared for mosquitoes but we really didn't have much issue with mosquitoes. Very affordable. The markets and shops in from the beach front are wonderful and Malik was perfectly willing to take us around which made us feel much more comfortable.
