We loved the beautiful garden and the porches. The breakfast room was also very nice and the name tags on our table was a nice touch.

The hotel is a bit out of town, so it is very private. It has a WONDERFUL pool with great views of the valley. Although the pool is not heated, it was very comfortable and I really enjoyed swimming in the pool. The staff were very nice. The food was good as were the cocktails. We had a second story room with a beautiful view. The music they played in the restaurant and at the pool in the evening was quiet and relaxing. It contributed to the enjoyable stay at the hotel. Next to the hotel is a small house that is a tram that goes across the river. I didn't get a chance to try it, but it looked fun. It cost S/35 per person.

The hotel is wonderful for birders and nature lovers. Pavas andinas, toucans, tanagers... and many more! The family that operates the hotel are so friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.
