Staff very helpful. Very clean. Breakfast was better than expected for the price range (eggs, chicken sausage, juice, coffee, sliced fruit, several Thai dishes, toast). Nice pool. A very clean self serve laundry (24 hours) is about 300-400 yards away on a side street.

We wanted a place where could just “hang” for a couple of days and do nothing. There is a delightful little cafe where we could pop in and have a quiet coffee or drink. The pool under a canopy was beautiful and easy accessible. The restaurant provided a large choice of meals, the staff were all lovely. The room was quiet and well appointed. Not many people around do it was very relaxing and enjoyable.

First and foremost, the staff is incredible. Always pleasant and it’s always a pleasure to see happy staff that are excellent at their job. Secondly, the Chinese restaurant, on site, is as good as I have ever had in my 79 years and always look forward to my next dinner there.

RS Phong Riverside is a hidden gem!! If you are traveling to Khon Kaen you should stay here! My friends and I (young expats from America) stayed here for a weekend trip to the city and it was all we could have wanted and more! It is a huge property with a beautiful riverside view. What makes the stay incredible is the staff. The owner Kim is the best!! She is so kind, welcoming, and helpful. If you're worried about your Thai ability, don't! Kim speaks fabulous English and goes above and beyond for her guests. The staff can call you a taxi directly from your cabin to the city or where you plan on going. The pool is wonderful, and snacks and drinks are available for purchase. I plan on coming back!
