Clean, comfortable and excellent service rendered by the staff

The breakfast on the 9th floor is fabulous. There are plenty of options to satisfy all, from decadent to healthy options, from Asia to the west; I have never been more proud of being Taiwanese whenever I get to enjoy a hotel buffet in Taiwan; even more so when I get to watch the look of wonder in foreign guests' faces.

I recently celebrated my birthday weekend at H2O Hotel in Kaohsiung, and it was an experience I will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, the hotel surpassed all expectations with its exceptional service and luxurious ambiance. The staff at H2O Hotel were nothing short of amazing. Despite only mentioning my birthday during the booking process, every staff member seemed to know and went out of their way to make the day special. Their warmth and attentiveness created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel truly valued. The highlight was a surprise birthday celebration, complete with a delicious cake and a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Birthday,” making me feel like a VIP. The ambiance of H2O Hotel is both sophisticated and inviting. Every detail, from the elegant décor to the relaxing atmosphere, contributed to a sense of tranquility and luxury. The rooms were immaculate and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The attention to detail in the room’s amenities was evident and added to the overall experience. The food at H2O Hotel was absolutely mouth-watering. Each meal was a delightful journey for our taste buds, showcasing a variety of exquisite dishes. The dining experience was elevated by the courteous staff and the beautiful dining spaces, making each meal a memorable event. The pool bar at H2O is an exceptional spot, embodying a sense of elegance and class. Although we received coupons for the pool bar, we found ourselves enjoying the ambiance so much that we didn’t even use them. The setting was perfect for a relaxing evening, with stunning views and a chic atmosphere. A testament to their outstanding service was when I realized, after arriving in Taipei, that I had accidentally left a favorite T-shirt in my room’s wardrobe. The hotel staff promptly called me and graciously offered to send it to Taipei. This gesture truly exemplified their commitment to guest satisfaction and their attention to detail.

Good location. Excellent Japanese food at the Slow Snail Restaurant a 15 minute walk.

The location is very convenient and easy to access. The facilities are new and very clean. They were also very accommodating in receiving an important package on my behalf. I highly recommend this hotel whenever in Kaohsiung.

The large tub for soaking was wonderful. The breakfast food was great! We especially appreciated the rice soup and variety of ingredients we could add to the soup.

The room was nice and clean and comfortable, although there was no kettle, which we knew upfront. The owners were super kind and the owner even ended up driving us into town as there is a lack of taxis and transport. We possibly were there out of season (March), so it was quiet and we felt quite isolated. The property is very nice and peaceful though. We arrived by taxi from Pingtung, but had great difficulty leaving Meinong to go to Tainan. Got on the wrong bus initially, but finally got the bus back south to Kaohsiung and from there it was easy to get the train to Tainan. Ones you know, it's easy! ha ha Not the highlight of our trip, but no regrests.

Like the big size of the room and the washroom is excellent
