It's still a village for now.

It's still a village for now. Not too many buildings, a supermarket and a grocery, a few backeries, an enpanadas and pizza store, a few shops and some bars/restaurants. The beach, all sandy, is very wide, and stretches as far as eyes can see.

Mar del Plata is a beautiful seaside resort. Great infrastructure and superior beaches. There is a lot to do and see as well as enjoy the beaches. Tons of good restaurants to cater for all tastes. And the people are very friendly.

Villa Gesell is an enjoyable beachside destination and the people are very friendly too. Contrary to Mar del Plata the beaches at Villa Gesell are not too crowded which made the beach experience much more pleasant. We found a very enjoyable Italian restaurant Casa Flore whose hospitality provided a memorable evening.
