I highly recommend a stay here. The hosts are very helpful & welcoming. The rooms are a good size, very clean, lovely comfy beds & whilst bathroom is on the smaller side it is very clean & functional. The inclusion of the kitchenette was very convenient.
Excellent quiet location, but still within walking distance to all that Victor Harbour has to offer.
I would definitely stay here again.

we need to go to kangaroo island in the morning. This is a perfect place to stay the night before as it is 45minutes drive with no traffic. The view is amasing and the room is quite large. We wish we can stay there longer.

There are so many wineries to choose from so do some research before you go and don’t cram too many into one day. Take your time to enjoy the experiences.
We used a local uber driver who took us to our chosen wineries and collected us as soon as we called, best choice ever.
Oliver’s Taranga is a stand out! Delicious wines and very informative staff. Lunch at Ekhinda was superb

Encounter Bay is a lovely beachside location with easy access to the beach for walking or discovering what the coastal tides have to offer. There is plenty of parking for day visitors. It's a beach for discovery and appreciation. The sunrises are stunning. It is also a lovely place to observe several birds in their natural habitat and appreciate the protected nesting sites of the threatened Hooded Plovers.
Encounter Bay is within walking distance to Victor Harbour along a dedicated coastal path, or a little more challenging walk (or drive) to the Bluff lookout. There are plenty of holiday accommodation properties in this area providing lots of different options for single to family holiday makers.
Encounter Bay is the place to visit if you want to unwind and breath in the beautiful ambience, but it is also central to many other interesting Fleurieu Peninsula locations for adventure. Enjoy!

It was a cute coastal town, the locals are pleasant and welcoming. We had an excellent meal at the local Normanville Hotel and another one at the Surf Club. We enjoyed going on the Big Gorge trail and reading some history of the early settlers.

The town of Goolwa has a wonderful heritage ambience as well as a maritime seaside feel as it is close to the Murray River, beach and the Coorong national park. A good base to explore other areas. Plenty of cafes and eateries and these are generally good value. The town also has some large supermarkets for self catering. Town is surprisingly busy in mid winter exuding a positive buzz.

Port Elliot has a lovely mix of boutiques, cafes and pubs. It is a smaller place to stay from Victor Harbor, which is easily to drive to. Port Elliot has amazing beaches all within easy walking distance of each other. It is a great base to visit the Fleurieu Peninsular, Goolwa, Hindmarsh Isalnd and the the wine regions. Highly recommend.

Stunning rooms and views. I would highly recommend staying here! The minibar/in room wine prices were extremely fair. The BBQ and heater provided on the patio plus the high end espresso machine in the room, along with the Kevin Murphy bathroom products made this experience feel extremely luxurious.

Great little country town with 3 hotels and some other niche dining experiences available in main street precinct. The golf course looked fantastic and I cannot wait to get back and play the course.
All people in places we visited were very friendly & helpful.
Dined at the Bush Inn Hotel and despite it being booked out they were able to find us a table & squeeze us in. Meal & menu were excellent.

Port Noarlunga was a surprisingly good spot for a short (or longer holiday). There were plenty of dining options in easy walking distance and the beach was great. Water quality was excellent during our stay in February, with amazing clarity that enabled us to see plenty of marine life from the Jetty. Diving of snorkelling on the reef would have been a good experience - just remember to take a wetsuit as the water is pretty cool.
There are major shopping facilities less than 5 minutes drive from the beachfront if that is your thing.
The location also provides easy access to the wine region of McLarenvale (just 15 minutes easy drive). The coastline to the south is really quite spectacular and well worth a drive, with lots of sandy beaches and secluded bays.
