Well maintained motel, friendly & helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Not too far from Hospital for visitors.
Had an stairlift for those that have mobility issues going up stairs (not needed but a nice surprise for futire reference)

I think Redcliffe is underrated.
I think Redcliffe is underrated. It is an excellent location with a casual, laid back life style. Yep, the place is a little older than other more "trendy" areas in Brisbane/SEQ, but absolutlely worth visiting.
You can't beat great dining, friendly staff, and an awesome climate.

The Sundowner Hotel Motel is an excellent place to stay as it has ease of access to everything They have the best linen and the beds are very comfortable. I would always book this motel . The hotel and bistro next door has the best food on offer and there are pokies for those who do wish to have a flutter. Staff are very friendly and more than helpful. If you want MacDonald's or a small shopping precinct close by they are all right next door.

Bongaree is a cute little place, There is plenty to look at lovely views and the people seem friendly too.
Stopped into the local book store, I was in awe of the selection. Could have stayed there all day.
Kenilworth bakery has a massive "donut" it is 1 kg comes in a few different flavours.
Definitely worth checking out Bongaree

North lakes is an ideal area if you need to access shopping.
North lakes is an ideal area if you need to access shopping. It seems that every shop ever conceived is in the area. There is also great dining experiences - but shop around. The Coffee Club in the Westfield Shopping Center achieves something I thought was impossible - it produces cold overcooked bacon and eggs. Don't go there.

Didn't have a chance to do much outside of our reason to be there (Funeral/wake). Up from the Goldie/arrived in time to have lunch and check-in/after wake had a short walk on the beach at sunset then dinner at the restaurant. By 8.30 the next morning we were on the road again as we had commitments at Kallangur and the Tweed!

Due to time commitments and poor weather we had little free time. Being part of the annual classic boat regatta we were on a tight comprehensive schedule. The township was brilliant, the people pleasant and helpful abd the beach looked inviting. Definitely want to explore it more.

We love Scarborough!
We love Scarborough! Great beachfront, lots of lovely walks, plus plenty of good accommodation options for all budgets, then there’s the fabulous cafes/restaurants/businesses plus friendly people. Honestly what’s not to love?!

We needed space for 4 adults close to the airport. This served us well. We found Kallanger very easy.
Altogether it was a positive experience and heartily recommend it for other's in the same boat.

It was wonderful to stay there, close to where we needed to be and in a time that was hard for personal family reasons, the staff were so good and happy, the food was amazing and the room was comfy and clean, it made our trip easier to be on.

Great place to visit, due to the weather forecast, we really stacked our activities for the start of our holidays, so we found we ran out of things to do on the back end of the holiday when the weather wasn't as good. 5 days would have been great, 6 was probably a day too long during winter.
