Simply an extraordinary place in the middle of nowhere and nature, reached after a long and hazardous drive. Lovely guestroom with very nice furniture - a bit small though, with not many places where you could lay out stuff. Had quite some luggage, so would not have wanted to share the room with someone, not even with someone close. No TV in the room - and no need for it, as you can chat to the visiting parrots on the verandah and enjoy the fabulous views, go hiking or bird watching - which is the most amazing thing at O'Reilly's. (I recommend a hat and long sleeves for parrots landing on you.) If you don't want your room serviced (Green Card), you get a free drink at the bar. Delicious food, sparkling O'Reilly's wine and super friendly staff at the bar - which is like a restaurant, just a bit more casual. (Didn't try the buffet at the restaurant.) Free bird walk early in the morning, what an experience! Free afternoon tea, manager talk with free bubbles. Very welcoming reception. Didn't use it, but was at the Infinity Pool - it looks sensational, and the view! Over all, could have stayed there much longer than two nights. Simply outstanding. Tip: Best to go there during the week because more traffic on this extraordinary access road (blind corners, hairpin curves, one-lane sections etc) can be exhausting. Locals told me that O'Reilly's can be quite overrun on the weekend.

Beautiful room in a pristine setting. I wish I knew the name of the lady in reception with short dark hair--so welcoming and accommodating!!! Also Elon (I think that was his name-housekeeping staff from Turkey) was also very helpful and friendly.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at this B&B. The owners were so kind and thoughtful, making us feel very welcome. The breakfast was outstanding — they asked for our preferred time to ensure the meal was freshly prepared and served hot. The property itself is beautiful, extremely clean, and offers a lovely view. A truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The view upon entry blew us away - the pictures simply do not do this place justice. Our suite was comfortable and cozy - decorated in such an appealing way. Breakfast each morning was delicious and unique in that we were able to take our picnic basket and go out and enjoy the beautiful landscape with little private seating areas or go back to our suite. Laurie and Judy were amazing hosts - so warm and friendly along with all the other staff. And it was so close to many fun things to do but we hardly wanted to leave the property due to it's tranquility.

A personalised experience with a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast had a variety of options to suit different tastes and was well serviced by the owners. Rooms were spacious, beds and towels were evidently very new and comfy. The gardens, deck and views surrounding the villas were stunning and made for valuable time spent at the accommodation. A lot of care had been taken by the owners and you could see this in the details/facilities. Highly recommend a few nights at this stay.

Our visit to the skywalk and surrounding area was fantastic, the walk to and from the Curtis Falls and surrounding area was great and an opportunity to walk off some of the beaut coffees and cake from Long Street. The Glow worm cave and butterfly enclosure is a must for children. Make sure you visit St Bernard's Hotel and say hi to one of the Saint Bernard's walking around the premises. All in all a great location.

Our group of friends had a fantastic weekend at the Bower Cottages. The cottages were charming, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Nestled in a peaceful bush setting, it felt like a true escape from the hustle of daily life. We loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings, surrounded by birdsong and nature. The location was perfect – just a short drive to the wineries, walking trails, and local shops. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay with friends!

We enjoyed a Guinness at Baileys Irish Bar, the best Indian meal we have had at the Mt Tamborine Indian Cuisine, checked out the markets, strolled Long St checking out the shops. Extremely tasty produce from Tamborine Cheese ( recommend the Tomino wrapped in Prosciutto ) The beers at Fortitude Brewery were also very enjoyable. We didn't have much time & will return to explore the many more adventures Mt Tamborine has to offer.

We loved our stay at the cottage, felt so at home but a hint of luxury. Absolutely everything you could ever need available to you in the cottage and the hosts are very accommodating. Such a beautiful place huge kitchen with amazing view and back deck/second bathroom are also so nice with great views. Would be great for a family, within walking distance of eagle heights resort and a 5 minute drive to amazing restaurants + cafes. Plenty of hikes and rainforest views all round!

Not too busy area even though just before Christmas period.

Not too busy area even though just before Christmas period. The Curtis fall is not long for walking (1 Kilometre return from the car park). Not recommended for them who has trouble with walking as there are few steps as well. Lots of bats with shrill noise throughout the walk. Mind the steps as the path is slippery in some areas. Botanical garden is very nice and quiet place for the solo traveler. There are many restaurants and cafes around the area. Lot of artifacts stores like the clock store etc if you just want to walk around the main streets. Not far from Brisbane, a day trip will suffice if not planning to stay overnight if not preplanned for the day to spend. Book the Glow warm tour ahead online if it a part of your to do list. Don't forget to visit the winery for tasting.

Tamborine Mountain is perfect for short stays.

Tamborine Mountain is perfect for short stays. The weather was warm for winter. Lots of things to do. We went to a Tamborine Glass Blowing class and had a ball. We thoroughly recommend this experience. We had lunch at the Splice of Life and dinner at the Chinese/Japanese restaurant. The bakery on Main St was excellent. There was a lot of traffic in the main streets due to school holidays but we found a park easily and the crowds weren’t an issue for us. People were friendly and welcoming.

Lovely getaway location with lots to do! The Gallery Walk was excellent shopping and a few great distilleries to visit as well. We did Waterfall Walks, had delicious coffee and had plenty of eating out options. Can highly recommend 'Three Little Pigs' for dinner!

Pretty disappointed with the facilities.

Pretty disappointed with the facilities. We will be leaving early. If I had had a closer look on arrival I would have stayed on the coast and let you keep the money. The room was totally uninviting and cold. The bathroom had scum and hairs through it. The bed sheets were filthy. Food and stains on the linen( can only imagine what from. Nothing had been cleaned from previous guests. Shocking. $200 should have provided clean, organised and personalised experience. I don’t live like this. Thanks for making me live like this for a night. Sorry. I won’t be coming back or recommending you to anyone. Quite the opposite. Regards. Michael.
