United StatesWe had a wonderful stay at City Forest! It’s located about a 7 minute drive from the airport and surrounded by numerous amazing restaurants! The host is very welcoming and helpful! He arranged a taxi for our 6:00 flight. The place itself was super clean and had everything we needed. We took a bus into the city of Sarajevo which took about an hour from the stay (30 minute walk to bus stop and 30 minute bus ride). You also could get a taxi for a shorter ride (probably closer to 20-25 minutes). I would highly recommend City Forest!

United KingdomCozy,comfortable, modern apartment. Extremely well presented with small details in the decor - loved it!! I wish I had been staying for longer. We were tired and didn't want to go out to eat, so there were packets of pasta and soup left, which sufficed.

Highly recommended place. Only about 10 mins wLk to the ski chair lifts and eateries.

I definitely can consider myself lucky finding such a great accomodation in the heart of the mountains and spend part of my holiday during Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 trip. It is a wonderful location with really beautiful views around and amazing scenery. Rooms are very comfortable and spaceful. Even the food was really delicious 😋...I cannot forget about fantastic home made cooked meals and about the lady who spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking delicious meals. The lady is absolutely amazing and very kind person who really took a good care while I stayed in Umoljani. And the breakfast was pretty amazing. Local food which is excellent energy for the intensive hiking and climbing. You can also order delicious dinner in the pension. The pension is so amazing place, that I decided to stay for one more night there enjoying really lot! Thank you very much for the hospitality! I hope to come here again with possibility to stay in the pension again! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a remote location with a focus on nature, you can't go wrong with staying in Igman.
Just be careful as there are always some dogs to meet in your walks, they're harmless but can be intimidating having a group come near to you.

Mountain Bjelašnica is a breathtaking mountain known for its stunning natural beauty, fresh air, and panoramic views. Tall pine trees and scenic trails make it a perfect place for relaxation and adventure. However, in recent years, the mountain has changed. Too many buildings have been constructed, damaging the peaceful atmosphere. While the architecture may be modern, there is not enough meaningful content or attractions for visitors. There are few cultural activities, limited outdoor sports options, and not enough playground for kids to enjoy. As a result, the mountain feels overcrowded yet empty at the same time. It needs a better balance between development and nature to truly shine again.
