United StatesFrom the moment I booked Maria Chico, I knew I was dealing with people who truly take pride in what they do. The professionalism of such a small bed and breakfast was evident even before I arrived in Caraíva.
I personally loved the location, far enough to feel peaceful, yet close enough to everything.
But what really stayed with me were the details. The shower head, the copper faucets, the custom-made drain covers, the little locket for the keys in case you and your husband decide to wander separately for a while. The tea and cake left out for guests in the afternoon. The faucet outside to wash the sand off your feet after the beach.
It is such a small bed and breakfast, yet the attention to detail is remarkable.
And honestly, it did not bother me one bit that it rained during many of the days we were in Caraíva. In fact, we loved the rain.

We loved this hotel! The room was very comfortable with great breakfast options that changed daily and were made to order. The pousada is connected to a coffee shop which is nice for a little treat and pick me up in the afternoon. the staff was so nice and Paula was especially pleasant to speak to; her energy and excitement just radiates from her!

Breakfast the normal brazilian style and the food in restaurant was very good and fresh!the hotel has a very good environment and it's seafront which gives you access to other "beach" and othe restaurants along the coast.

It is in a perfect spot. Near all restaurants in Cumuru. The beach is good, but still not the best compared with the other ones in the region. Like Cahy beach. The hotel is right in front of the beach, what is great. Dani was always ready to give us support.

The village is amazing with their sand streets.
The village is amazing with their sand streets. No cars are allowed and no public lightening. It has an ancient atmosphere.
The food is generally expensive and the local culinary and their ingredients not authentic.
