The hotel is located in a very tranquil, safe and beautiful place just in front of the lagoon. You can catch glimpses of quite a number of birds around here. Santa Marta is located close by - around 4 kms away which is a beautiful little neighbourhood with beaches abound and of course the famous lighthouse. If you are lucky, you can even spot the Southern Right Whales during the season they come around. The walk itself to Santa Marta is very beautiful and you can see the "Sambaqui" - Indigenous structures going back thousands of years containing vessels, bones, etc and are current archeological sites. Laguna with its dolphins and old neighbourhood is also a quick drive if you have a car. Paulo is very helpful and nice and you can always reach out to him for any advice/questions that you have. The room and the pool is as you see in the photos - modern and beautiful.
