The beds were comfy, room was large, bathroom functional and clean. The kitchenette worked really well for us and one evening we made dinner and sat out back on the picnic tables that had a nice view. The full fridge was fantastic. Breakfast was good, and really appreciated the yogurts, fruit, and scrambled eggs.

A lovely little motel with lots of pleasant little touches like a comfy reading chair plus a footstool, an electric kettle for hot water, a shower curtain that's actually not the usual white plastic crap, all the usual things like coffee maker, fridge, freezer, microwave, a desk and chair. Granted, things are a bit dated but all squeaky clean with a comfy bed. And if you have the inclination, go to the charming local movie theater in the evening and watch a flick with the locals munching yummy buttered popcorn. Oh yeah, and then there is the price of the room.....

Beautiful, spacious house with gorgeous views and comfortable beds/furniture. A great place to stay and exactly what we were looking for during the Holidays! Proximity to the Fairmont ski hill and the hot springs was fantastic to enjoy outdoor activities within a few minutes of the front door. We also enjoyed the more challenging trails at Panorama Ski Hill ~ 40 minutes…and no lines for the ski lifts!

The owners were lovely! We came for my daughter's wedding. Every day that they owners saw me they'd ask me how I was and if I was excited, or how the wedding went! Very sweet! The outdoor facilities were great, and we even got to sit on the bus for breakfast! love it! Room was very clean and was large. Walking distance to restaurants etc.

Golden was the only place in BC where hang gliding can be done with an expert glider. Tim provided enthusiast to experience flying under his guidance while Golden provided the perfect take-off and landing points. A great experience to last a lifetime 🤩🤩🤩

The room is spacious, clean and nicely designed. The house keeping responded to our request quickly. I deduct a point because the on-site restaurant is bad. We ordered 3 dishes and like none of them. For fish and chips (2 pieces of fish) they give you one very small take out plastic container of Tatar source and charge $2 extra for each additional Tatar source.

Cute little town that we walked around.

Cute little town that we walked around. Enjoyed sampling some spirits at Tayton Bay. Had a nice hike north of town at the Wilmer wet lands. Saw several deer here. Very close to Kooteney National Park. We were glad we came.

Overpriced and Outdated.

Overpriced and Outdated. Crowded pools , noisy, dilapidated balcony and chairs on deck. No privacy partitions between suite on balcony. Overall a complete waste of money for us! The list goes on. Radium has more to offer and more to do.

Cute little mountain town with great views. Some nice shops and restaurants downtown and a great little movie theatre. I was there for one day which was fine for shopping etc. ...if you want to experience the rafting etc you need more time.

Small town, need to head to Invermere for any real grocery shopping -which is not far. We kind of love shopping small town thrift stores, but the opening hours are not great. The kids and I enjoyed the playground and the outdoor fitness centre, it is a great place for going on walks and hikes. Also hugely advanced in the kids learned to swim - at Radium hot springs

Nice town by the lake but our accommodation was a little far from the center so you need to use the car a lot. Good shops and supermarkets in a compact area. Pub was nice with a good view of the lake from the veranda.

Best place ever- we swam in the river, paddle boarded,...

Best place ever- we swam in the river, paddle boarded, rafted, spent a day in Invermere, a day at Wasa, went to the waterfall pools, did the footbaths, used the hit springs pool and road our bikes in to Invermere and back to Fairmont. Windermere has a great fruit market

Great value-for-money location compared with the Banff area.

Great value-for-money location compared with the Banff area. I wouldn’t visit Golden Skybridge again, especially when compared to the attractions in Revelstoke or Whistler. However, I would visit the Kicking Horse Resort.

Nice small town, with the necessary facilities and some nice restaurants. Walkable. Easy access to Kootenay NP and a short drive to Panorama for skiing. Lots of bighorn sheep in the local parks in mid-winter!
