"The beach is gorgeous! it is actually 22 kms long, and if you drive down the coast and you stop at all the stops the beach changes shape and size. The water is cleaner is some areas and the sand is softer. There are places you can walk out in shallow water for 500 meters. I have been all over Asia and Australia, and I loved the beach here because the weather is more comfortable, and the sand and the water are just as nice to sunbath and swim in! The water is unexpectedly warm! It is really beautiful!"

Super quiet and felt cozy. It was comfortable for me and my family. The cottage was neat and we had the basic things we needed for our stay. We had also requested for a crib and high chair for our baby which was provided.

North Rustico is a favorite place already and still is.
North Rustico is a favorite place already and still is. Meals at the By the Bay Family Restaurant delicious and substitutions can be made easily and with smiles. North Rustico is also central enough to drive anywhere around the Island to any beaches, any restaurants, any attractions. The cottages where we stayed are very close also to Cavendish and lots of attractions for younger families.

The cabins were adorable and it’s in the perfect location, close to all the fun sites you’d want to visit. The staff was incredible and everything was very clean. They offer free hot showers which was a nice surprise. It was so peaceful, our 2.5 year old was probably the loudest one there haha. Definitely worth the price. We are already planning to go back next year.
One con is that it would have been nice to have some more play ground equipment for our toddler to enjoy!

Cottage was really cute and well equipped with everything we needed but could be updated and a bit more modern. Horses were a delight. Pool was great, but again lounge chairs and umbrellas would make it really great. Wifi was a bit wonky some days - we were able to run phones, a laptop, Firestick and Alexa but not perfectly. Not sure it would have been strong enough if I had planned to work there. It was a done deal because our dog was welcome and that's worth everything to us! Highly recommend.

Brackley Beach and the surrounding area offer some of the best beaches on the north, central side of the island. North Rustico, Charlottetown, New Glasgow, all places I like to get to, are an easy and short drive away. Options for coffee and food are close by if you don't want to go anywhere.

It is a quiet area with great beaches for families as well as adults. Always a sea breeze to keep one cool. Great area for walking safely along paths . We mainly cooked in cottage but obtained seafood and other ingredients at Jewells country market.

Stanhope was an excellent place to stay for our first time on the island. We went mid June so avoided the summer busy season. The cottage was an excellent location to PEI national park and beaches with lots of trails for biking and walking. The property has a large selection of bike rentals and decent daily rates. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Comfy beds, kitchen/bbq for cooking and a hot shower. Honestly couldn't ask for anything more.

Cavendish is definitely one part of the island that needs exploring, fabulous beaches, amusement for the kids, shopping at the boardwalk and minutes away from seafood dining, captains cove cafe, fishermen warf.
There’s something for everyone.

It was out of season but all the exploring of beaches and the town was amazing still. Wished the resrurant the dock was open but it was to early in the season. Had an amazing breakfast at tales and tide delicious fresh food and homemade jam.
