Very comfortable sleeping arrangements for our family of 7! The space was extremely clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need! It was great to have outdoor space! We loved the location which was a very short drive from old Quebec and absolutely wonderful to get away from the business of the city! Easy to access and the owner was very quick to respond! Would highly recommend!!

Close to the river and half way round the island. Nicely renovated. Cheerful. Staff also cheerful and directed us to a good restaurant. Liked the kitchen/store next door and our complimentary jar of yummy pickled asparagus!

The two people running the Auberge were absolutely lovely. Great location on south side of the island in a village that is nice to explore. We stayed in Loft Fedora which was perfect for us as there was a mini fridge, small stove and cooking supplies. The room was very clean and roomy with ample space. The back porch opening onto the lawn with Muskoka chairs for lounging was the perfect place to enjoy our snacks and drinks. The homemade breakfast, served on the enclosed porch was delicious and plentiful. Would absolutely recommend the location.

Daniel is an entertaining host, and his breakfast preparations were very good. The inn is full of history with many antiques. This is the perfect location from which to explore the entire island, as well as venturing into Quebec City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Au Vieux Foyer.

The staff were friendly & the onsite bar/restaurant was really great! Location was close to wineries & cafe. There was a great fresh produce store across the road. There was an excellent view of sunsets across from the motel.

Ile d'Orleans is a perfect spot for "Foodies".

Ile d'Orleans is a perfect spot for "Foodies". With only one main road around the island it was very relaxing driving from spot to spot tasting all the various food & beverages offered. We had supper at a pub and lunch at a winery (both had excellent offerings) and our other meals were local food that we picked up for picnics. The variety is amazing and all the people are so friendly. Also a great place to chill out and watch the ships go by. We went during the week but can imagine it being busier during the weekend. If you can, it's worth climbing to the top of the observation tower for great views.
