The front desk clerk, Ben, made our stay! He went above and beyond, was friendly, funny and provided exceptional guest service. This trip was a very special trip so when making the booking I made a special request, I was pleasantly surprised it was fulfilled and this took our stay to another level! Excellent location, guest service, clean and well maintained! Well done Whistler Village Inn and Suites

Our first time in Whister.

Our first time in Whister. We enjoyed the walkable interesting village, the town museum and excellent cultural centre, watching the fearsome muddy bikers, and the river water changing colour from milky tea to beautiful glacial aqua. The highlight was the Peak to Peak experience on a windy day with sunny moments amidst a wide variety of cloud formations above, and below us. Of course the rich flavours of Ucluelet tuna lunch at Christina's, our attempt at a hike in the very cold wind and that wind buffetting our three gondolas. Overall the awesomely intriguing vistas constantly reshaped by clouds. This octogenarian aims to come back to explore more.

Squamish is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and ocean views. We loved the outdoor activities, especially hiking the Chief and exploring Shannon Falls. The town has a relaxed, welcoming vibe with great cafés and local shops. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who enjoys nature and adventure.

We travel in October to the Island. Stop overnight in Pemberton so we are not rushing to catch a ferry. However, most of the restaurants are closed (maybe for the winter season) not sure why. But very hard to find food to suit everyone. The pizza place was excellent and one of the two places open.

An excellent location with all winter and summer sports catered for. Easy to reach from Vancouver via Route 99 sea to sky high way. Excellent restaurants and hotels and the facilities were clean and tidy. Two peaks Gondola was the highlight of the resort. There were numerous connections from YVR.

To be honest did not see to much as it rained quite heavily so just had a rest day. When we did venture out it was for a walk along the river and to the good Japanese restaurant down the road, also the market up the road . So the large corner room was ideal, plenty of room and loved the bar area to look outside.

We just stayed over night.

We just stayed over night. Not much to do from the walking distance. It is in the valley bottom, mountain trails and tops are not so close with easy access (or maybe we didn't look enough well for them). We wanted to be on higher altitudes, but Pemberton is certainly not yet that high and close to the sky.

The location and Brackendale is a bit out of the way, perfect for you getaway to go offline and explore the nature. Nature - that is something that is loads around, go for wonderful hikes! Fergies is amazing. Can't say anything else, food and coffee was delicious. Do recommend to rent a car or use taxi as transportation around here.

Our time in Whistler - along with all the other places we stayed or stopped over at on our Canada trip - was just too short. We should have loved to have had just a few more days to explore the area more. Absolutely everything a person could want in a resort: outdoor life, great facilities, brilliant views and landscape, challenging hikes and run trails, great cross-country biking trails, mind-bending downhill MTB routes that were fun to watch (but too chicken to try this time round), great selection of eateries and cafes, good shopping, good supermarkets etc.

It was Canada day, we were looking for a restaurant, hard to find. As I turned off the pavement toward a place where some cars were parked, my car bottomed out, bam! I didn't see that drop coming. The city should never have such a drop off of pavement in town! I was too upset to stop and take a picture of it. I drove a short way and made sure my oil pan wasn't leaking......
