This is my second time staying. Such a great find for a quick overnight stop. Beautiful sunset and sunrise views by the lake at the back of the Fort. Appreciate the full kitchen with utensils, plates, cups etc. The teas were a nice touch! The buildings are exceptionally clean. Exceeded my expectations of what a hostel would be like. This truly is an amazing place to stay. A clean place to sleep (hostel style), shower, prepare food, relax, recharge and even do laundry should you need for less than the price of a restaurant meal! If you are ever on a road trip and just need a place to lay down your head for the night, this is the place

Cabano is so much more than what you see from the highway.
Cabano is so much more than what you see from the highway. The town was so pretty. The park is amazing. If you are travelling through (we travel from NB to ON) Cabano is a great place to stop and take a break or stay overnight. I would have enjoyed at least one full day and another night to explore.

Place is ok, Close to the lake you can take some picts.
Place is ok, Close to the lake you can take some picts. Is not much to do around. We try to eat @ Pod du lack but it was full and you need reservations. Everything is closed. Ending eating something from Metro supermarket.
