Just a min walk from station. We got a free upgrade to high floor with a panoramic view of the city. Spacious room with floor-to-ceiling window. Special remark to the automatic curtain which avoid the direct sunlight exposure when we wake up around noon. Exceptional and attentive services. Frontline staffs serve us chocolate and drinks when we do the check out!

We got the room on the 11th floor with an amazing view, the beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. Stuff was nice, you get the Basel card which allows you to use city transport and you get discounts for museums which is really nice.

The location of the hotel is great to move around: walking distance from the old town and near some of the main transport hubs. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good: not a lot of things, but everything was top quality, particularly the yogurts, bakery and cheese. Above all, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us during our stay in Basel.

The staff was extremely helpful. We went to an event where 8,000 people came from 80 different cities around the world, and we finished the first day late so theirs restaurant was already closed but they made us grilled sandwiches. So very much appreciated, they made our stay very comfortable. Oh, and they gave us a piece of biscuit each day on our pillows 🥰🥰

Perfect network of public transportation.

Perfect network of public transportation. And it is free with accomondation in Basel. The oldtown is nice and not crowded with tourists. It was great to swim in the Rhein. The city is at the border of 3 three countries: best starting point to visit all.

Basel is a very nice and clean city with lots of museums and places to see. Unfortunately, it is expensive, but the Basel card is outstanding with its offer of free transport and discounts in the museums.

We loved the Old Town and the quaint shops.

We loved the Old Town and the quaint shops. There was construction everywhere we went which really ruined the experience of walking around. So many sidewalks dug up and construction vehicles, and cranes everywhere. It's incredibly expensive. I've been to 58 countries and it's by far the most expensive city we've ever been to. $14 for a beer. $19 for a pour over coffee. Food and lodging were very expensive for what you get as well. The public transportation is free if you stay there which was nice. We have no desire to go back. Only went there to catch our Rhine River cruise so stayed 2 nights before that.
