The location was great, right between Villarica and Pucon. 10 min from each. Also the hotel was “right” size, not too big and not too small, related to amount of guests. Breakfast was great, food was very high quality and very well prepared. Congrats to the chef. Beds were very comfortable and cleanliness was good.

Amazing place for trekking (a lot of parks nearby) with different difficulty, volcano, hot springs for relax, lake with a ships, koyaks, motos. A lot of shops with trekking staff in case you are not prepared, a lot of delicious food.

The noise from other guests was extremely loud, and the walls are so thin that I could barely sleep at all. I contacted reception at 3:31am and although they did try to intervene, the noise continued and the situation was not resolved, leaving me completely exhausted the next day. What was even more disappointing was the customer service afterwards. I received repeated automated WhatsApp (AI) responses with no real follow-up, and when I called, I was told the lack of response was due to staff not speaking English. I was also hung up on during phone calls, which is completely unacceptable. I was given empty promises of a response from management that never came, and my situation was downplayed with comments suggesting it was “not a lot of money,” showing a clear lack of understanding of the impact this had on me. Overall, the poor communication, excuses, and lack of genuine customer care made this a very frustrating experience.

Nice small private space. Just right to relax. This place would be great in the ski season (nice wood pellet stove would be very cozy) or in the summer (I was there in early summer) when the wildflowers and the hiking are great. Open windows and enjoy fresh cool air.

The downtown area has a lot of places to explore easy to get around on foot, via cab, Uber or bus. The volcanic hot springs are close, 30 minutes to one, 60 to another I HIGHLY recommend going! Guillermo, our taxi man, made himself available to us for our whole stay, whenever we needed him! The food is great, and there are a lot of choices, there are stalls where local crafts and traditional toys, clothing and souvineers are sold. The people are friendly and helpful and were kind about my terrible spanish. I wish I had been able to stay a little bit longer there is so much to see, and the Volcano is visible from most areas when the sky is clear of clouds. What an incredible sight! The next time I come to Chile I will stay longer in this area.

Very good place to visit situated nearby Conguillio National Park, but also Icalma area (and probably some more). Small, peaceful city having all you need, including tourist agencies which can arrange your time as you wish.

The cabin was just perfect

The cabin was just perfect It had great beds a nice clean bathroom, kitchen and a big screen tv…the plus was the tinaco which is a wooden hot tub heated with local logs right before we got there!!! We had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant prepared by the owner … the food was delicious and well presented. The supermarket was close by to buy a few groceries so we could eat in the cabin…kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed.

Pucon, is stunning and we cannot wait to go back. The town is beautiful, there is so much to do. You really must drive up the Volcano and take the ski lift to the top. We will go back and plan a much longer staying in this stunning part of Chile.

Temuco is the cultural centre of the Mapuche community, indigenous people who have been oppressed but continue to fight for their rights. It is worth visiting museums, but also cultural centres and local people.

Hotel Patagonia Truful is by the Truful Truful Waterfall. Fantastic location - definitely would stay again My room had a great view of the waterfall. Room and bathroom were very clean. Sitting in the patio swing in the afternoon sun with sights and sounds of the waterfalls was very relaxing. Gracias to the staff, who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The location is remote, and the security features are therefore appropriate. Some prior reviews complain about the gate to the property being locked at night, but fail to mention that the room key comes with a clicker for the automatic gate, so they could have gotten out at any time.

If you are a nature & food lover, then come to Pucón!

If you are a nature & food lover, then come to Pucón! It is a lively bustling little town located on the shores of the lovely Lake Villarrica with amazing views of a snowcapped Villarrica Volcano. (fair warning: evening traffic is crazy in the summer. Book a hotel in town and go by foot) It's hard to find bad food in this town, and it is served to you by very nice people. The Chilean people are very welcoming. Make sure to visit Ojos del Caburgua, three beautiful waterfalls that flow into the stunning blue and green pools. Salto El León, about 30 km from Pucón, is a must! It combines hot pools with a massive waterfall surrounded by lush green jungle. Reservations required.
