"Bregenz was a pleasant surprise. Has lots to see and do. Shopping and restaurant area is great to walk around. Lots of trees and seating. Old town up the hill is beautiful , took lots of photos, the whole of Bregenz has some interesting architecture , both old and modern. The lakeside area is set out really well. Boats come in out out taking you to lots of different sites on the lake into Germany and Switzerland. There is also good public transport to everywhere. Bike tracks and walking tracks along lake set out really well. Enjoyed sitting at sunset bar over the water."

"Lech is a very nice village with excellent skiing access. We made reservations for dinner each night which I recommend. The only challenge we had was that heavy snows caused a road closure on the night we planned to arrive so we had to delay our arrival by one day. Lech can be more challenging to reach than some other locations in the region."

A very very friendly dog hotel where you can even bring your dog with you to the dining area! For us it was extremely helpful, since our dog doesn't like to stay alone in the room while we are having breakfast/dinner. They put in our room a refrigerator and a freezer (on our request) which was extremely convenient for us.  All the staff was really nice and friendly!

This was our third stay at this property and it never disappoints. The rooms are really nice, the beds very comfortable, the buffet breakfast excellent and generous. This time we booked the room with dinner included too, which was also good, but not quite as amazing as breakfast. The lobby and the spa area are both nice too. Excellent wifi throughout the hotel.

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We arrived by train and the hotel was only a short walk away from the station--very convenient for tired travelers! It is also only a 15-minute walk to the old town, so everything was very easy.

We liked the beauty of Bregenz which is situated alongside...

We liked the beauty of Bregenz which is situated alongside Lake Constance. There are nice restaurants & cafes, shops, walks, boats etc and we enjoyed the cable car ride to see the small farm, great for children and the views of the mountains are spectacular. The area is excellent for cyclists & runners, and for people with mobility issues. There are ferries which go to the small German island of Lindau, which is worth a visit and it takes 20-30 minutes. Quite a few of the cafes shops and restaurants are closed on a Sunday.

Close to Bregenz and Bodensee (Lake Constance), perfect location to explore the region without moving your car. Our hotel provided Voralberg card during our stay, so buses/trains are free. Wide selection of nice restaurants are in the centre.

Nice Austrian city with almost 1000 years of history and worthy of visit on its own right. Also recommend for people visiting Switzerland and Lichtenstein for a short glimpse of Austria Perfect restaurants to spend the evening for meat lovers but also vegetarian options available. A good choice for overnight if visiting Lichtenstein

I had visited Lech before for a skiing holiday (although I stayed elsewhere and commuted to the resort), and I had such a great experience that I decided to come back in the summer. We visited with our children, aged 5 and 3, and had a wonderful time. We combined cable car rides, hiking, and cycling. Our 3-year-old rode on a bike seat attached to her dad's bike, while our 5-year-old cycled on his own bike and was towed with a bike tow rope on the steeper climbs. One of the highlights was Waldbad Lech, a beautiful heated outdoor pool surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. We also enjoyed cycling from Lech through Zug, as well as riding from the Formarinsee car park up to the mountain hut. As the cable car to Zürsersee was not operating during our stay, a shuttle vehicle took us up instead. Zürsersee is beautiful. The next day, we took the cable car to Rüfikopf and enjoyed the spectacular views. Another beautiful walk was from Kalbelesee to Körbersee. We also drove up to Oberlech and had a lovely walk there. Lech is not only an excellent winter destination but also a fantastic place for an active summer holiday. We would love to come back again.

In front of the main door at the entrance to the reception, there was a crumbling and sagging granite floor, making the entrance a barrier for my wheelchair. I had to bring my wooden board every day to get over this obstacle (about 8-10cm high) with my electric wheelchair and get into the motel... Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Wouderful large appartment in a Quiet village 10 minuts drive from Lech Owener was flexable with checkin and aranged for me to get in at 2 am. Everything as decribed, really relaxing. I came at the end of the winter with a car, I was told that in the middle of the winter the road is often closed, I advise you to check up about traspotation before you book.

Great place to stay when you want to go walking/ hiking. We went in the summer, and were amazed by the scenery and well thought out and maintained hiking paths. If you plan to drive here using your own car, it is good to know that nearly every parking is payed, it isn't much, usually 4 or 5 euros a day, but if you plan to drive about a bit this can quickly add up.

Bregenz is a lovely little town, and they have always going on in the harbour area. Contrary to the hotel, the town and especially the people there are LOVELY. Just go there, you will not be let down

We were only there for a one night stopover.

We were only there for a one night stopover. Had a walk around to find a dinner and saw there was more to the village than we thought. Found a great Chinese restaurant. The town has all necessary amenities, reasonable prices and very close to Bregenz.

Visited family and enjoyed every minute of it Don’t miss to visit the weekly local market in center of town and must try the local caffès, bakeries and pastry shops and definitely explore the butcher and cheese shops which offer a massive selection of great locally made treats you could not easily buy / find in the US
